I just watched the movie "The Last Saumuri" and a couple of things struck me from this movie. One of them was what "Saumuri" meant. Pretty much along the lines of "Servant".
The other was a striking line from the Movie:
"I think a man does what he can until his destiny is revealed."
Whoa! I think you can put that in a christian context of works and faith. Care to run with it?!?
'Nuff Said...

One should always be careful studying a Tom (the Scientologist)Cruise movie, but I'll give it a try.

I didn't know that, but since I am of the opinion of examining everything, even from another brother or sister in Christ, and even what I thought yesterday as being the correct way to do it...
Thanks,

Do we not all receive a small piece of our destiny early in our journey with God - it's like a "carrot" - something to keep you focused on, something to give meaning to all you need to endure. And as our journey deepens, slowly more pieces are added to our sight as we find our path to our destiny .......
Rattle, rattle rattle

I have to ask might it not be more along the lines of when we choose to accept that destiny rather than when it is revealed to us Jerimiah 29:11 says I have plans for you I think we just need to be open and accept our destiny then we can succeed
Be blessed
