Philemon -- for a long time I really had no idea what this was about, really. For those of you that know, this is an example to follow. Really, look at what Paul is attempting to get done here, and understand how he is going about doing it. Not by a command, which he had full authority to do, but by couching it as a request.
Love in action. The fait accompli is a work of faith done in love. Gentleness. And probably more aspects of love that we could fathom only by dwelling in thought on this prescious little book of the Bible.
