I think worship to me takes in a lot more than just bad singing, I believe any time we glorify or give praise to Him it can be interpretted as worship. probably meditation and prayer would be included in my definition.
Be blessed

Ascribing to God what is God's, which BTW, is EVERYTHING!!!
All wisdom, All love, All creation.
The image I get is of a knight bowing before his king on the steps before his throne, his eyes down, his arms up, with a sword accross uplifted palms, saying 'I am yours. Command me, my Lord!'
Not always Worshiping by my Life,

BTW, I sometimes sing well, and I sometimes sing badly. It doesn't often bother me when I sing badly, and when it does, I usually realize that concern for what it is: Fleshly Vanity!
And I generally don't sing the melody, but usually an odd harmony, and my daughter does so too, at times. It makes me wonder why. Is it because of how I sing? Is she wired so very much like me? (I see bits of what makes me a different type in both of my children, but most especially in my eldest.)
Things to ponder that have nothing to do with worship. Or do they?

For me, it's spending time in His presence and giving Him all the glory. More than often this happens in song (and I don't care how badly I sing). My prayers normally start with spending time worshipping him with words along with praise and thanksgiving. Whatever the way we worship Him, one thing I know and that is that it is important to Him!!!!!!! And that's all that matters......
