2 mins to stay silent and remember. A pittance of time. How many will take the time?
Thank you for putting those posts Pat.
    God bless

    Hi Colin...

I wanted to tell you that I know Portglenone a little bit. I've been there a few times. Before Jack and I got married, he was stationed in Kilrae on the RUC and Ballyclare.

When we lived over there, he was in Belfast in Browns's Sq. Long gone now with the M2 and the link from the M1 to the M2

I'd love to put your poem that you put on your site the other day about Nov. 11 on the Christian Photographers site.

    Pat

Hi Pat. Of course you may use the poem with my blessing. I am humbled that you want to use it. That is good you know Portglenone. I know Kilrea and Ballyclare quite well. I live outside Portglenone 3 miles. When you come from Kilrea over the Bann bridge and up the main street and straight over the head of the town heading towards Cullybackey; You travel 3 miles up that road and my road is the first one to the right. Perhaps you travelled that way at times. As you know our country is full of marching bands and I am in an accordian band. We are doing the remembrance parade in Ballymoney on Sunday. I think we are going to get a good day weather wise. I am sure you know Ballymoney too. We must chat more Pat. What is the url for the Christian Photographers site please?
    God bless

    Hi Colin...

    Drop me an email.

Jack used to go to the Kilrea Baptist Church many years ago when Stanley Hilditch was the pastor but he's now up in Port Stewart I believe retired (if he hasn't gone home to glory).

Jack used to fish the Bann.

Right now, Christian Photographers is down. My son is the webhoster and he must be having a problem today but when you can, it's here:

http://www.christianphotographers.com and click on "forums" We post mostly in the "Thoughts for the Week" and I was hoping to have a Remembrance theme for tomorrow but can't access it.

    Oh well.

Yes, I know Ballymoney so well. This is wonderful, Colin, to be able to speak to you about the "auld sod". You know I love Ormo bread. I make wheaten bread over here in Canada that is just as good or better than ormo! HAHAHAHA!
