    Hi Mel,
This is a very important portion of the Bible. Cornelius is the FIRST gentile to ever become a Christian. He was a good man respected by all the Jews. Peter teaches him about Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit about 10 years after Pentecost occured. Cornelius blazed the trail for the rest of us so that we could share in the kingdom of God and become heirs to his kingdom. Jesus died for ALL men of every tribe, nation and language.
That is why I enjoy the story of Cornelieus.
    Blessings. ML

I always enjoy the story of cornelius. and I think if we do some thing that offends our brother we ought to quit. But I did say Brother.

Hey Mel, Is there more to this...some underlying message...Please explain your intent or thoughts in this writing.

    In His Service,

    Mary Lou and Bro Larry,

    Yes and Yes. AMEN!

    Teri,

Yes there is. However, to be blunt and outright say what I think at this time is more likely to be divisive. That being the case, I will hope for the Scriptures to be read and understood on their own by those I think need this. I don't think of this message as being needed by you, or I would now tell you, although you may discern that there is something here that you need to hear. If that is the case, I hope the vision you get is a blessing.

    All,

Thanks for the Comments. I am not always able to drop a line when I read what other's are putting down. And I know that maybe dropping a trite 'Hello' is not always best. (althought at other times, it could sufice and be good) Wisdom even in small things such as this can be so elusive, but I will assure you that might think I burden myself with worries on this that I generally do not.

Go with God's Magnificent Blessings, in His Son's Name. AMEN

Anders W.E. posts the following comment on his blog 'A Law - A Life':

As for me and my food consumption I pray to The Lord every time I am served pig meat not to let me be charged with eating it.

This leads me to believe that he is not legalistic or judgemental in these matters. So for those of you asking, no, this is not specifically talking about him. This needs to be clarified. He is hard to understand and follow at times, but to judge a person on that basis is extremely wrong! If I were to try and post in French, (which I could only with extreme effort) I would likely be misunderstood even more so!

No, there are more attitudes about the Law and Judgement that permeates this community. This actually goes back a ways further.

    Go in Peace,

    Mel
