    Hi again,
Yes, it is amazing that we can read scripture over and over and then bang! - something seems new and we see a different verse or word - I love it when the Holy Spirit works in us this way.
I am doing a "Jesus the One and Only" Bible study on tuesdays by video with Beth Moore at my church. She is so awesome at explaining and describing Jesus so He is SO real. I wish you could come to it - You would be so in love with Precious Jesus like the rest of us. We are studying the Book of Luke (the doctor) because she feels that Luke really goes in detail in his writing.
Carry on with your study and I will post something on my blog A Heart at Peace about Jesus today. Blessings to you. ML

Have you ever read "A purpose driven life" by Rick Warren?

Hi Mary Lou. My mother gave me that book a few years ago. I really enjoyed it.

Have you ever read "Confronting Casual Christianity" by Charles Stanley? I'm reading it now. When I was reading about the church in China I was really struck by how casual the Christianity is of many Western believers. It seems to me that the church is made up of two groups and the separation between them is growing wider every day. I think there are those who know of God and then there are those who know God. In conversations with other believers it seems that God is calling His remnant to a deeper level of committment. I feel so strongly that this is a time for us to press into Him as we never have before. I don't know what the future holds, but I feel that we need to be as close as possible to Him.

I agree, It is time to make the choice. I was once a Catholic who knew of Christ but never had that personal relationship with Him. Now I have been born again and I am part of His family. The feeling and the fellowship is sooo different! I am so happy to be in His family and under His protection. What a change! I wish that all people who think they know God would just take that extra step of involvement with Him. Have a wonderful day! hugsml

    Sorry,I never answered your question.
No, I do not know that book. I will look into it though.
I have a list of books that I want to read.
Too little time - too many books.
I am doing two Bible studies right now & publishing a Women's newspaper & involved in other things at my church, and working a couple days a week, and being a mom, wife & grandma. Whew! But I love it all!
