Shows how easily satan can deceive us. Sadly, there are consequences to breaking one of God's commandments. On the spiritual side, these idols and gods may represent spirits which could possibly mean strongholds, bondage etc.

God put the 10 commandments in place to PROTECT His children, not to place them under any law, and even though Christ has broken all law, there are still consequences to breaking those 10 commandments.

A bit bold of me, but I'll throw it out there and await response. Something I am quite passionate about and am willing to listen and learn.

    God bless

Beautiful and Terrible at the same time. Mystic Arts and Idols. False Gods and other Failings.

These things are part of God's Word, possibly not for the timid, and not leant to frequent thought, but part nonetheless. For the most part, these are as You All say in different ways: For Teaching.

The lesson on the surface is to understand that their is a reality around us, and we would do well to see it as God Does...

Thank You for your comments and Lee, if an answer comes to me, I will share it! I am sure Lois or even someone else could do the same and be just as likely to give good advice as I.

    In Christ,

    Mel
