Hi Lois J. I enjoyed your biblical perspective, that we are to be led by the Spirit, and cultivate discernment, rather than emotionalism in making decisions, so that we truly honor Jesus, and reflect His will, rather than our own.

And then some people also have the gift of discernment. Unfortunately, many christian will be deceived in the last days, so it has already been explained that many many people will not be able to discern and fall into satan's trap. I most certainly agree that we should already be practicing waiting on God for decisions in life and not readily jumping blindly into what looks like a good thing!
