If Christ's gifts were given and squandered by those he gave them to, what does our rationale of witholding good from someone who could use it say about us? I do not say not to use wisdom, only not to rely upon worldly wisdom too much. I think we, not the government, should be caring for the poor. For the government deserves no glory. God does!

That was some of my favorite scriptures too. and yes it definitely gives us something to think about. The Christians are suppossed to be a loving, caring, outreach ministry. God certainly does deserve all the honor and glory
