Hi Mel,
Great ideas from the two Scriptures...So true.
Doing good and sharing, how wonderful that is. As you say, this season need not be the only time. We all need to do what we can everyday, not only the Holidays. As we know it is better to give then to receive. What a blessing! God is well pleased when we are abounding in His work.

:) Hi Mel, Amen!..I believe there are angels in our midst. Sometimes we just don't know it. When ever we help someone else. Jesus said we did it for Him.

Hi Mel, thanks for many encouraging ideas, focused on quality not necesarily quantity. Yes, we honor our Jesus, by doing good, as He desires, and helps us also to want to do good.

Hi Mel,
I loved your list of things that we can do to help others and be more Christ-like.
It seemed so basic and easy, yet so many Christians can't be bothered.
When we extend ourselves in any way for the good of our brothers and sisters, we are glorifying God.
It's sometimes the smallest things we do that can mean the most.
If we commit everything we say or do to God what a wonderful world this would be.

Well Mary Lou, if you thought of one I missed that would be good for you, that was my aim. If one just fit in naturally for you, then maybe that is even better, but I couldn't hope to cover everyone that way.

As Jesus said, If you do it to, or for, someone else then you have done the same to, or for, Me. So we should do everything as unto Christ, as if He were the one right there in front of us. Good message.
