Your question here sounds very much like the Casting crowns song We are the body I believe. Do you really believe however that God would choose matter of factly to take a brother home to teach us a lesson, because of how we are behaving? To be honest I think it is more of God turning His head on our prayers because our lifestyle is not where it should be. If prayer is not something we feel is important, It pretty much turns into a beggingemphasis. How much attention do we pay to the guy standing on the corner evry day claiming to need our help, because they are out of work, homeless and have 16 kids that are hungry? Which is itelf another problem, if we are honest with ourselves and the church was doing as it should this country, no this world would have no need for government welfare.We need to look at the truth and realize the body is crippled, not Christ
