Now I have to wonder what "Shrimp Counting" means. Does it mean standing on contractual obligations and learning nothing else about the relationship you have? Did he not appreciate Mrs. Lee for who she was? Hmmm. I really wish I knew that one...
As an aside, the Junior Officers who are smart, always listen to their Senior NCOs before making a decission. They may not always follow their advice, but at least they took it to heart. I say that because it seems to be at about Captain level you find some don't think they need their NCOs any more. I wonder if that has a translation of sorts into the Church, sometimes?
You take me down memory lane many times, it seems. Sometimes that journey is pleasant. Thanks!
