It is good to ponder this. I am thankful, certainly. However, I also look back at this nation of ours and ponder this scripture. When we were more of a "Godly" nation, we were, as it says here, a nation that lent to others out of our bounty. Now, as we become less of one, we become less of the other. Is this coincedence? I am inclined to say it is not. But I cannot say that this is the price we are paying. I can say it is not good and it is not right, but my understanding does not allow me to make that final leap. IT only leads me to wonder about it...
