    Be charity sincerity

    Sir,

You write: "Christians should be concerned about teaching and clarifying what is right or wrong and true or false according to Scripture." So what do you think about this thing called showing love?

Love should be a dominant characteristic, and the loss or neglect of love is one of the harms of legalism.

Should it not be the characteristic? I ask you since I miss your love.

But you are of course right. "Legalism" can be understood as the fools idea, that is the way of the eye-servant. He shows love too, of course, but there are three ways to show love. Which is (1) by faith, (2) by hope, and (3) by charity. The two showing love by faith or by hope are both coming short. They act like (1) the corn or (2) the herb, both oriented upon serving, upon making offerings of love. But he who shows love by charity is like (3) a fruit tree. He shows love the way the Lord expects it.

There are by nature three kinds of men. Jesus told us (Matthew 19:12). There are creep, there are live-stock and there are wild animals. True love is shown only by the wild animal.
