You have hit it square on the head!
Everyone wants to be a follower but nobody wants to 'pick up their cross.'

I think that as soon as we release orselves from the pride of doing it on our own and come to the realization that He will provide. we open ourselves up to so much more than we can imagine but that is to expensive a lesson for most to consider. and I believe that loss is far more expensive to our wellbeing than most care to believe. But I also think to say everybody or nobody is a stretch that sets us up for defeat. I believe it's hard to believe before you can see, but untill we believe we remain blind
    God bless

I am reminded of Romans 12:1. To be a living sacrifice...For the smoke of my sacrifice to rise daily as I endure each trial, as I go through each fire...and for this sacrifice to be a sweet savour unto the Lord...To bring a smile to the face of my God. To strive to please God in every hard time instead of screaming out from the self-centeredness of our flesh...to offer to him glory for good times...to honor Him always and in all ways.Anytime we put self aside that He may be seen... He is pleased with this sacrifice.

I remember that at one of my lowests points in my life, I was at a loss for words. Short of dwelling on the anger and bitterness I broke out into praise and instead of blaming God I thanked Him and boy what a feeling of utter calmness and stillness came over me and God spoke the most cherished words to me. That would never have happened if I had been selfish and acted according to flesh. When we offer that sacrifice, mighty things happen in the spiritual.God Bless

My old pastor used to say, "The problem with a living sacrifice is that it's always trying to crawl off the alter."
Thanks Preacher, that means a lot coming from you. Teri, it's an honor to hear from you, welcomes back are in order, I think. Ross, its interesting that letting Him provide is so related to accepting salvation by grace. Lee you inspire me as always.
