Hey Mel, thanks for this. I actually reverted to my NIV to read Proverbs, but hauled my NKJV back in to read up on this and was quite amazed with what I read in the study part.

Wisdom stands in direct opposition to foolishness. It is plain and available to all who seek it. It has always been and yet, man's desire is inherently for the secret things of wickedness. Isn't it amazing that the strongest desire of the sinful man, is to seek after the lowest things of life. Proverbs 1:7, perhaps where there is no wisdom, knowledge, or understanding, there is also no real fear of the Lord.
