Hi Brenda,
Thanks for the email about flour sacks! I am sure that many of my dresses were made from such when I was a child (MANY years ago!)...
Did RUFUS carry Jesus cross? I thought he was one of Simeon's children and that Simeon carried the cross for Jesus that day... (and I may be spelling Simeon incorrectly). Am I mistaken about that? I have been known to be wrong before! :-)

Hi Brenda, I enjoyed your post. Rufus must have been a remarkable man. How about His dad simon, who was pressed into service to carry the Lord's Cross. It is a blessing to belong to the chosen body of Christ. I also wish you a wonderful weekend my sister.

Hi Sharon and Serola
Yes I made a mistake when I read that. I too was under the knowledge of Simeon carrying the cross. It was as Serola said, (the father of Simon. Glad you brought that to my attention. Thank you kindly.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Hello Dear Brenda, it is good to be back from the country and again reading Your wonderful blogs. What a great, great Word - gathering together at the feet of Jesus... and especially gathering together as a family, teaching kids from the youngest of age to pray as a family. Truly good Word. How much more would be accomplished if we took heed of the power of unity... especially within a family.
Thank You so much for sharing.
Many, many blessings to You,
