Hi, Lois! Thanks for a wonderful post. It's so good to remember that we can turn to God and send up a prayer-flare any time we're in distress.
Anway, why do we act like prayer is a last resort when we've run out of options? It should be our first line of defense. So many times we say, "All I can do is pray for you" - we should be saying, "The best thing I can do is pray for you, and I'm going to start right now!"
