So then, we have this well in us. Someone (an enemy we know well) wants to poison this well, and if we do not guard it, he most certainly will.

Is that the end of it? No. But hold to the good and shun the evil. In that way, you will find the well within restored. Ask for forgiveness, turn away from the poison and guard against it.

So, you think you can "lose" your status as a son or daughter? No. Grace is not a "one shot deal" you can return. It does not matter if you or I want to allow it. Let the Son return.

And the Father saw the Son far off in the distance. Why? Because His heart had Him searching for that Son every day. We need that same heart. Some amoung us need us to watch for them. Our responsibilty is to do as Christ said: "Feed My Sheep."

    AMEN.

Funny, my hubby and I were just talking about the lost sheep parable incorporated with Judgement day. Luckily for us, once you've had a personal encounter with God Himself, it become more difficult to fall away. Unfortunately not enough people have had a real experience with God to keep them from straying. But, God is at work on them and us..........

    God bless

    Hi Mel,
Today in my chronilogical daily Bible reading it covered the Lost Sheep parable and the prodigal son.
Funny to see it again here!
But anyway, the heavens will rejoice immensely over a lost 'sheep' being found.
God also promises that the one who helps the lost ones find their way will be rewarded.
It is our duty as God's people to lead all people to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Sometimes easier said than done.. but it is our commission / our job that should not be taken lightly.
And as I wrote in my blog, God's grace is continuous... like a wave on the ocean.. it just keeps coming and coming.
Grace upon grace upon grace upon grace!
Thanks be to our Heavenly Father!
God bless you, Mel for sharing with us!
    Have a great weekend!

I sure wish everyone could see this Mel.
I pray for people everyday that don't.
    Or maybe don't want to.
    In Gods Love.

    Thanks Guys,

I don't profess this as specifically for all. But there are different types of people with all the same need. Someone "Falls away" and they are discounted by many, sometimes even "officially" and that goes beyond saddening me, that angers me and I think of that anger as the same as Christ's when he exhibited it! I may be wrong, and try to temper it down, but if I cannot I ask for forgiveness. I think Christ would simply go out and get other "shepherds" for his "sheep" so the anger that boils is not all correct, but it is where I am at...

    In Truth,

    Mel
