Wow, John, what an awesome worship service!
I would have loved to be there.
I always feel closest to God at my worship service or at my prayer group.
Maybe fellowshiping with other Christians makes me feel more a part of Him... I don't know!
And I loved the message.
Maybe we need to start expecting and believing that the Holy Spirit will come!
Maybe we need to start expecting and believing that God will answer our prayers!

Must have been a last week thing. Same thing went on at our church. Seemed like there were more singing than were there. A heavenly chorus perhaps?

I'm glad to hear ya'll had holy spirit experience. 4 SUNDAY'S ago the church I attend had one.So many said they felt HIS presence when they came through the doors.Oddly enough it pastor appreciated day. Boy did GOD bring a message.My heart felt like it was about to explode. My sunday school teacher told us to look for a miracle to take place.We didn't know it,but 3 elderly people had given their lives to CHRIST earlier that week and were going to be baptised that very morning.I had been praying for my 18 yr. old son to be saved.That very morning our youth pastor and myself went to the altar to pray for my son's salvation. I starting crying uncontrollably and then I heard someone praying to my right.I stood up ,looked and there was my pastor and my kneeling at the altar praying for JESUS to save his soul.It was truly a miracle.Prayer does work.Crying out does work Praise the LORD everyone in my family of 6 is saved.THE HOLY SPIRIT was very much us that day.No words can describe that feeling.It was awesome.
