Brother, let me give you a secret:
Acknowledge God and His Power and He will open up the gates for you.
The fastest and most undeniable answer to "prayer" was not what one would call a "prayer" in the conventional understanding. I was seeking and seeking and seeking an answer. I was reading and poring over and rereading all the relavant material I could get my hands upon. I was stuck and could not find the answer, and yet I "knew" it was there! (Denial of the facts would be what a worldly advisor would have told me, I suppose...)
Anyways, I was depending upon the gifts God has given me to find the answer. I was trying to do this on my own and became very frustrated. Finally, I lifted my eyes to the heavens and loudly said in irritation and mild anger, "Enlighten Me!!!"
Imediately I knew the answer I had been seeking. I mean in the literal blink of an eye! It was something I had read and read and not understood the significance of. I was humbled and contrite. I appologized to my Father in Heaven. I had been a stubborn child!
But he loved me enough to set aside decorum. I acknowleged that He did have the answer and asked him for it. I did not do it very well, but he answered it because I acknowledged in my own stupid way that He alone had the answer I sought!
Honor this ability He has to answer all questions and solve all problems. It is very powerful! Even as badly as I did, if that is all you can muster.
