There are some people like Cramer would say, "They are really OUT THERE Jerry."
The one that I have a distaste for is... "My dog is smarter than your honor student." and there are some others... but I guess I have to respect their right to make those statements.
The thing that really irks me is cities are taking steps to limit public displays of the cross beause it offends people... they are restricting church building because communities say they dont want churches taking up the space... etc...
BUT...
Strip clubs can be built... Porn book stores can open... night clubs can open... billboards litter the skyline with their pitiful messages... need I go on?
And we wonder why our country is in so much turmoil and disarray....

Mel and Bob, you're both right on the money. Bumper sticker philosophy can be annoying, and what cities are doing to churches is downright disgraceful. None of it is surprising, though. Jesus told us that in the last days people would be lovers of self and would not listen to sound doctrine.
What really irks me, though (to get back to Mel's comments), is when a car is sporting a Christian bumper sticker or fish emblem, and the driver behaves in an unchristian manner. I got honked at by an SUV driver the other day because I wasn't getting out of his way fast enough, and I spotted a fish emblem on said SUV as I passed it. This unpleasant episode occurred in a crowded Wal-Mart parking lot, mind you, and the car ahead of me was waiting for someone to pull out so he/she could take the vacant spot, so I had nowhere to go to get out of the SUV's way.
Just goes to show that what's on the bumper may not be what's in the heart.
