Hi Jon. I pray for God to give me direction.
Even tho I work in the church and try to be a good servant. I still dont know Gods plan for me. I just keep doing and praying that Gods will be done.
    In Gods Love.

I am so glad God led me out of my old church because the one I am at now is just great.(Not perfect, but they try.) I never would be there today if I hadn't been rooted out of the old one. Someone at that old church had even made up some really nasty rumors about us. I dwelt in the valley. We were rejected and despised. I enjoyed that church but sadly they chose the way of the world. Not all churches are that good but I certainly can't discredit the ones that are and there are still actually some around. God closed a window but opened a door for us. Who knows? Maybe He is doing this for you too.

    Jon,

You are no more an idiot than I am. Although, like me, I'll allow that you do things that are not as bright as God. We are a work in progress and every day here, we still will be.

Remember that someone had to share with Billy Graham. Remember that Paul had to endure much to be able to "brag" to the Church at Corinth, even as he was admonishing them and encouraging them. Do I know what is next? Specifically no. But you will discover "Christ's Church" is where you least expect it and understand that it always has been and will be united. "Man's church" is a failure. It always will be. If you talk of "your" Church versus "my" church, examine the underlying thoughts. Capture them and hold them. Understand them and mold them. To God's will, not what you would have them be.

I think Bro Larry's simple answer is best. There are times to pick up and leave as Jeanette did, and many more as well. If it comes to that, there will be no judgement for me as I am certain that you have been willing to suffer much for misdirected brothers and siters and even ones who are not but discouraged. And you do this not for your abilty to "brag" even though you may, like Paul. No I am certain you do this with a very real love and compassion forthose you are serving as you would see Christ having you serve them.

May the foot washing be a blessing to you!

    In Truth,

    Mel
