    Hi Jon,
I have never heard Rich Mullins songs.
    Thanks for sharing.

Why Jon, do you call yourself a jerk. You are
a child of the most High God. One of His
chosen ones, from the foundation of the world.
He has called you out for a purpose, to be
used for His Glory, just be you and don't try
to please people. Please God and Him only.
Just have a made up mind, and stay still and
be a peace with yourself, God knows your heart
and understands everything you are going
through, trust and lean on Him, all in His
timing. We go through things which we don't
understand, but our Lord knows what is best.
We go through some seasons, as God is
waiting on us to get in shape. He is molding
us, as He is the Potter and we are the Clay.

    God bless you and yours...
    With God's Love,
    Lois J.

    What Lois said...

Neither do I consider even myself a jerk (even though at times, I may act like one) and neither should you, Jon. I don't think you should dwell overly much on what went wrong. Rather, concentrate on what God made right! A sober assesment is fine. At times, I think we all can be jerks. Thanks be to God, our sins no longer define us!

    Go Forth in His Peace,

    Mel

John, I think you're a little befuddled. You're not a jerk (at least, I've never seen you be one), and Rich Mullins most certainly wasn't one. He spent his life ministering to anyone who'd listen to his music, and in his last years he ministered to the Native American population in the western U.S. because God had put them on his heart. He may have had jerky moments when we was reacting to those folks who rejected his message because they didn't like his style of music, but it's a rare person who doesn't react to rejection in a defensive way.

Anyway, we love you, bro! Keep walking in the Light.

Befuddled, with some jerky moments! I lIke it! The point of the last two posts was more about the grace than jerkiness. Isn't it amazing that God uses us anyway?
