Christ told us a little about the attitude.

The one saying Thanks Be to God I am not like these other sinners, was in fact, praying to himself. The one in the back saying I am unworthy, he was the one with the attitude that justified him before God.

Humble yourself and Yes, enjoy being in the presence of the Lord. That too, is good. I think to say that "We each worship differently, and no one can tell us a single right way to honor the Lord." might be misleading to some. There certainly are many acceptable ways. There are some that are not. Some may think "You cannot tell me not to do ____" and think anything goes. That is not correct. I think your post is correct, but just leaves this door open, and the attitude that we must (and this is true) accept each other may bleed over into accepting everything that each of us does which is not true.

I may not have correct discernement in each case, but I will give my counsel freely and explain why as best I can. By doing so, I receive counsel back in return to help me correct what I need to correct. I we stand alone, we are not part of a functioning body, and our life will reflect that fact.

I do feel emboldened again, so I'll probably get a slap again soon!

    Blessings, dear sister,

    In Christ,

    Mel
