    Mel!

I have missed your posts brother! Glad to see you posting again. I agree with your thoughts that you have expressed quite clearly in this post. We tend to fall woefully short of the mark when it comes to living a forgiving lifestyle. Some do not want to forgive anything, and others forgive everything even when it is blatantly against scripture. I pray all is going smoothly with you and your family these days? They sure are interesting times, are they not?

    Grace and Peace of Christ.

Amen! Mel, what a wonderful message you have posted, I have enjoyed it very much, so true. As the word says, if a brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him..and if he trespass against thee seven times in a day and seven times in a day turn again to thee,, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thy heart be glad when he stumbleth: (One should read the whole chapter)

So true, never condemn, but rebuke and forgive, all in love......

When Jesus died on the cross He paid our sin debt. He bore it all, when He said it is FINISHED, IT WAS.....Now as Christians we must be obedient to His will and follow in HIS footsteps. The Bible is living written Word and we are the living walking word...So we must do our best to walk the talk. Love and forgive one another.....I'm a believer in eternal security.....

Thanks brother for posting, great message....

    With God's Love,
    Lois

    Eric & Lois,

Thank you. We do try. As we are naturally going to do when we understand. We will still fail now and again. But, in hope, we arise. We make this easier on each other if we do exactly as Christ does. But if we do not, God's Grace is still all we need.

    Your Brother,

    Mel
