Mark 3:21; Job 3:17-18
Mark 3:21 King James Version (KJV)21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
Mark 3:21 Contemporary English Version (CEV) 21 When
Jesus' family heard what he was doing, they thought he was crazy and went to
get him under control. Contemporary English Version (CEV) Copyright

and our families after. Job 3:17-18 King James Version (KJV) 17 There the
wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest. 18 There the
prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor. Job 3:17-18 Good News Translation (GNT) 17 In
the grave wicked people stop their evil,
and tired workers find rest at last.
18 Even
prisoners enjoy peace,
free from shouts and harsh commands. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright ©

they do not just no longer exist but face the punishment for their sins in
hell. Sin no longer happens after death, but the result of sin is hell our only
hope is Jesus. We no longer have to work after we die as Christians we are given
rest after death not just from work but from the troubles that come along with
life. 18 At death people are no longer prisoners but if they are
prisoners of sin by never being set free from sin by Christ, they will be
prisoners in their judgment. They will not have to worry about pleasing their master
any more but if they never worried about the Master then they have a lot more
problems. keep our eyes on Jesus.

Mark 3:20; Job 3:15-16
Mark 3:20 King James Version (KJV)20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
Mark 3:20 Contemporary English Version (CEV) Jesus and the Ruler of
Demons 20 Jesus went back home, and once
again such a large crowd gathered that there was no chance even to eat. Contemporary English Version (CEV) Copyright

princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver: 16 Or as an
hidden untimely birth I had not been; as infants which never saw light. Job 3:15-16 Good News Translation (GNT) 15 Then
I would be sleeping like princes
who filled their houses with gold and silver,
16 or
sleeping like a stillborn child. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright ©

suffer. He wanted to be at peace at rest. 16 Stillborn children is a very sad thing and is very hard
on the parents, but Job was willing for his parents to go thru this, his mother
to go thru her child being born dead, going thru the pain of child bearing only
for him not to be living when he comes out of her, to not ever truly be born. Keep our eyes on Jesus.

Mark 3:19; Job 3:13-14
Mark 3:19 King James Version (KJV)19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house. Mark 3:19 Contemporary English Version (CEV) 19 and
Judas Iscariot, who later betrayed Jesus. Contemporary English Version

Jesus chose Judas so he could betray Him, but the disciples
did not know do fellow believers see why we are called or are we just living
out an evil purpose that has to be done for good? Job 3:13-14 King James Version (KJV) 13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest, 14 With kings and counsellors of the earth, which build desolate places for themselves;
Job 3:13-14 Good News Translation (GNT) 13 If
I had died then, I would be at rest now,
14 sleeping
like the kings and rulers
who rebuilt ancient palaces. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright ©
1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 13 It was thought that souls went to sleep after they died
this can be supported by scripture but so can going to heaven after death for
the believer. Either way if Job had died he would have not lived to go thru the
suffering he was going thru at that time. 14 This is referring to soul sleep, death was looked at
going to sleep, there was no belief in judgment or rewards there was no
scripture at this time to teach Job any different than what he knew as we have today.
keep our eyes on Jesus.

Mark 3:18; Job
Mark 3:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 And
Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son
of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
Mark 3:18 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
18 Andrew,
Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus were
also apostles. The others were Simon, known as the Eager One,

These are my thoughts.
Andrew was Peter’s brother and one of Jesus’ first
disciples. Philip also one of Jesus’ first disciples from the same town as
Peter, Andrew and James and John, Bartholomew was a close friend or may have
been related to Philip. Matthew was the tax collector called by Jesus. James
may have been Matthew’s family member. Thaddaeus this may have been the other
Jude. Simon very little is known about him.
Job 3:11-12 King James Version (KJV) 11 Why died I
not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly? 12 Why did
the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck? Job 3:11-12 Good News Translation (GNT) 11 I
wish I had died in my mother's womb
or died the moment I was born.
12 Why did my
mother hold me on her knees?
Why did she feed me at her breast? Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright ©
1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 11 Job did not think of how this would have effected his
mother to lose a child at any time is not easy for a mother but to lose them
prior to getting to know them is just as hard and would have brought just as much
pain to his mother as he was going thru. 12 Her mother cared for him because she had love for her
baby boy Job, Job knew deep down his mother love him but in times of grief we
often forget the ones who cared for us. Keep our eyes on Jesus.

Mark 3:17; Job 3:9-10
Mark 3:17 King James Version (KJV)17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
Mark 3:17 Contemporary English Version (CEV) 17 There
were also James and John, the two sons of Zebedee. Jesus called them Boanerges,
which means “Thunderbolts.” Contemporary English Version (CEV) Copyright
© 1995 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts. James and John were two of Jesus’ closest disciples they
were two of His first, they were found fishing and called, and James would be
the first martyr of Jesus’ twelve disciples, John would be the last to die of
the twelve. Job 3:9-10 King James Version (KJV) 9 Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day: 10 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes. Job 3:9-10 Good News Translation (GNT) 9 Keep
the morning star from shining;
give that night no hope of dawn.
10 Curse that
night for letting me be born,
for exposing me to trouble and grief. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright ©
1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 9 This is not Job referring to himself but him referring to
the sun coming and the day happening that he was born, Job wished that they day
prior to his birth and that night would not end. 10 Job may have been born at nighttime and is showing regret
that the night time came so he could be born. Job knew grief would not happen
if he was not born, to have so much grief to wish that we never were will not
ever be the state many of us will be in but if we are ever down then we can
learn that from Job that someone has had it worse than ourselves. Keep our eyes on Jesus.
