These are my thoughts.
Storms are going to come into our life the question is how
are we going to handle them? Job 8:6-7 King James Version (KJV)6 If
thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the
habitation of thy righteousness prosperous. 7 Though
thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase. Job 8:6-7 Good News
Translation (GNT) 6 if you are so honest and pure,
then God will come and help you
and restore your household as your reward.
7 All the wealth you lost will be nothing
compared with what God will give you then. Good News
Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 6 He was letting him know that if he had not sinned against
God then he would take care of him, there is some truth to this but we have to remember
God’s see things eternally and not as we do so for Him to take care of us means
that the now is bad but eternity is good us being with Him. Job would have his
things restored to him, this does not mean everyone who suffers a lose will
regain things by coming to the Lord, the things Job lost may have kept him from
serving the Lord as effective as he could have.
7 What God gave us was His Son to die in our place for our
sins this is worth more than anything we could gain, God would give Job back
more then what he lost, the blessings were more then the lose.

These are my thoughts.
Sometimes we need to cross the troubled waters of life
because that is where Christ is leading us.
Job
8:4-5 King James Version (KJV)4 If
thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their
transgression; 5 If
thou wouldest seek unto God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty; Job 8:4-5 Good News
Translation (GNT) 4 Your children must have sinned against God,
and so he punished them as they deserved.
5 But turn now and plead with Almighty God; Good News
Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 4 Job’s children had great sin and Job offered up sacrifices
on their behalf, this man may have not known this, while his children did what
was evil Job did what was just. The man may be right about God punishing his
children this may be one of the reasons God allowed Satan to do these things to
Job. 5 What this man is trying to say about Job is not fully accurate
because we see how early even God refers to Job as righteous, yes Job was not
perfect we learn he had a pride issue but this man was completely on base for
what he was trying to say about Job, we can not just tell people they are
sinners and beat them down, we share Christ thru love even though we have to
let them know that they are sinners but that Christ died to save them, we have
to do this without make ourselves seem to be better than them which is what
this man was doing, make himself better than Job because God had not sent these
things his way so Job’s sin must have been greater than his is what he thought,
we can not have this mind frame when trying to bring people to the Lord.

36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as
he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
Mark 4:36 Contemporary

36 So they left the crowd, and his
disciples started across the lake with him in the boat. Some other boats
followed along.

These are my thoughts.
As His followers we are not to stay in the crowd but break
away from them and stand for Him.
Job
8:1-3 King James Version (KJV) 8 Then
answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said, 2 How
long wilt thou speak these things? and how long shall the words of thy mouth be
like a strong wind? 3 Doth
God pervert judgment? or doth the Almighty pervert justice? Job 8:1-3 Good News
Translation (GNT) 8 1-2 Are you finally through with your
windy speech?
3 God never twists justice;
he never fails to do what is right. Good News
Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 1 Bildad could not keep quiet any more but Job it would have
been better if kept silent because Job was going thru enough he did not need
him to beat him down, we sometimes need to know that we are to bring words of
comfort and this is what Job needed. 2 He was telling Job that his view of things was clearly
wrong and that he was making no sense, like hot air was his speech.
3 God is a fair judge, he is right about this but we all
deserve God’s judgment but some things just happen as a result of life, Job
condition was not a result of his sin but because of his following the Lord
allowed him to be attacked by Satan. God is always right and thru what we go
thru we should be drawn closer to Him.

These are my thoughts.
While the world may not know things fully He guides us thru
His truths.
Job 7:20-21 King James Version (KJV)20 I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men?
why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself? 21 And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away my
iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the
morning, but I shall not be. Job 7:20-21 Good News
Translation (GNT) 20 Are you harmed by my sin, you
jailer?
Why use me for your target practice?
Am I so great a burden to you?
21 Can't you ever forgive my sin?
Can't you pardon the wrong I do?
Soon
I will be in my grave,
and I'll be gone when you look for
me. Good News
Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 20 We think sometimes because ours sins don’t harm anyone
that are sins are not as sinful but our sins that we think don’t harm anyone
still is the reason Jesus died on the cross. The jailer however had no reason
to arrest Job because of his sins, but we should be more concerned with our
faults with the Lord than those of this world because when we have faults with
the world then we have faults with the Lord and fixing them with Him will lead
us to fix our troubles with the world. Job felt as though he was being attacked
and often when we feel this it is by those closest to us but they do it out of
concern for us it just comes out the wrong way.
21 The most important forgiveness to seek is the Lord’s but
we should seek man’s forgiveness when we wrong them but Job had not wronged his
friends and because of that they could not do for Job about his sin. Job was
just wanting to die amd have things be over with.

Job 7:17-19 King James Version (KJV)17 What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou
shouldest set thine heart upon him? 18 And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, and try him every
moment? 19 How long wilt thou not depart from me, nor let me alone till I
swallow down my spittle? Job 7:17-19 Good News
Translation (GNT) 17 Why are people so important to you?
Why pay attention to what they do?
18 You inspect them every morning
and test them every minute.
19 Won't you look away long enough
for me to swallow my spit? Good News
Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society These are my thoughts, please share yours. 17 Job may be questioning the Lord but could also be asking
his friends that were with him, this is a good question for us to ask
ourselves, if it is out of anything but love then it is for the wrong reasons. 18 We should not try to test people to bring them down but
only to bring them up and see if they are ready for something better. When
church leaders are chosen there should be a testing period to see if they can handle
it because even though they are qualified they may not be able to handle it and
this is a reason for testing.
19 Job was in awful place and was starting to become bitter
and anger because of his condition. We should allow on conditions to help us
grow and not hurt our growth but this is not easy, the Lord was there for Job
to turn to the entire time of his struggle but Satan sent men that hurt Job to
distract him and this is the same way he works today.
