WHAT THEN?
The energetic young man,
Was only twenty-two.
He had places to go,
And things to do!
But, in a matter of minutes,
His life was through.
What then?
The young lady had,
A Godly Mom and Dad.
Yet her life was a treasure,
She didn't realize she had.
So, she threw it all away.
Oh God, how sad.
What then?
Those present passed around,
The nearly empty gun.
They said,"Come on man,"
"It's just for fun."
But, when it comes time to tell,
The parents of a dying son,
What then?
The two of them were the most popular,
Couple in school,
'Til they decided,
To let their passions rule.
Now that everybody knows,
They "played the fool,"
What then?
Teenagers who tend to care,
What their peers think,
Have their first smoke,
And take their first drink.
When into a life,
Of misery they sink,
What then?
Life seemed so boring,
Down on the farm.
So the young boy figured,
"Pot" wouldn't do him any harm.
But, when wife meets girlfriend,
On the street,
What then?
Violence, drugs,
illict sex, and booze,
Are the downward paths,
Some people choose,
But, at the end of their lives,
They always lose.
So, what then?

IT WILL BE HEAVEN TO ME!
My life here on earth,
Sometimes is troubled.
So in desperation,
I fall on my knees.
Then, Jesus comes to me,
And my joy is doubled,
When He brings a little touch,
Of Heaven to me!
In the clear morning air,
I can hear singing.
And my heart leaps with gladness,
As I travel along,
For just up ahead,
I see the lights of that city,
Where saints from all the ages,
Sing a welcoming song!
Heaven to me, Heaven to me,
To see the face of Jesus,
Will be Heaven to me!
I may wonder at the heavenly sights,
I shall see.
But, just to kneel in His presence,
Will be Heaven to me!
