    Ps 47:7; Es 1:10-12

Psalm 47:7 King James Version (KJV)

For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

Psalm 47:7 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

For God is king of all the earth.
    Sing praises with understanding.

    These are my thoughts.

We should praise God understanding that He is Lord and our King and Master.

Esther 1:10-12 King James Version (KJV)

10 On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,

11 To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.

12 But the queen Vashti refused to come at the king's commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.

Esther 1:10-12 Jubilee Bible 2000 (JUB)

10 ¶ On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven eunuchs that served in the presence of Ahasuerus, the king,

11 to bring Vashti, the queen, before the king with the crown of the kingdom, to show the people and the princes her beauty, for she was fair to behold.

12 But Queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s word by his eunuchs; therefore, the king was very wroth, and his anger burned in him.

10 The king may have been drunk or at least to the point where his judgment was clouded by the wine. We should not make decisions in clouded judgment. These eunuchs were his servants.

11 She was his wife. He may have been wanting more than her just appearing it maybe similar to her stripping or dancing for the crowd.

12 So the kings was angry, he could have put her to death for disobeying him. His pride was brought down which caused his anger.

    Ps 107:24; Neh 8:15-16

Psalm 107:24 King James Version (KJV)

24 These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.

Psalm 107:24 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

24  and you saw the miracles
     the Lord performed there.

    These are my thoughts.

If we are watching we can see that God still does miracles today.

Nehemiah 8:15-16 King James Version (KJV)

15 And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

16 So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

Nehemiah 8:15-16 Good News Translation (GNT)

15 So they gave the following instructions and sent them all through Jerusalem and the other cities and towns: “Go out to the hills and get branches from pines, olives, myrtles, palms, and other trees to make shelters according to the instructions written in the Law.”

16 So the people got branches and built shelters on the flat roofs of their houses, in their yards, in the Temple courtyard, and in the public squares by the Water Gate and by the Ephraim Gate.

15 We should receive our instructions both from God's word and from Godly counsel and leadership. He was simply instructing them thru God's word to do God's will, this is what preaching is meant to be, directing God's word on and into people's lives.

16 So they obeyed the commands of the Lord given by the law. This was to remind them of the time Israel had spent in the wilderness and was done during the feast of booths also known as Sukkot.
