END NOTES 6: SPIRITUAL POISONERS AND THE ASSAULT ON GOD’S
ABSOLUTE ETERNAL TRUTH
THE BIBLE IS ETERNAL, FINAL/ COMPLETE IN THE NEW COVENANT IT IS INERRANT AND THE SOLE UNCHANGING AUTHORITY OF THE CHURCH OF
GOD.
SALVATION IS PERMANENT NOT TEMPORARY.
TEACHING THAT SALVATION IS TEMPORARY AND CAN BE LOST IS A SATANIC LIE.
It is a complete denial of the Gospel message of absolute,
final, unchanging truth and that the Godhead lives forever.
It is a complete denial of the power of the blood of Christ to
absolutely forgive and save the believer of all sins forever.
It is a complete denial that the New Covenant of Jesus Christ is
for ever.
It is denial of the Holy Ghost sent down from God with the
gospel to guarantee/witness of the everlasting truth of God’s Word.
Mat 12:32
And whosoever speaketh a
word against the Son of man, it shall be
forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it
shall not be
forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to
come.
Warning: scripture never contradicts itself. Therefore, we can
easily see that anyone or thing that attempts to use scripture to
contradict/pervert scripture is error whether done in ignorance or willfully.
We know that the ignorant will believe the truth when corrected by scripture
within the context of the whole of scripture, but the wicked never will no
matter how many times they hear the truth: Rom 16:17; Tit 3:10: Act 20:29-30;
Salvation is permanent, not temporary because the believer is
made one in Christ in God, and cannot ever be separated from Him:
Jhn 5:26
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath
he given to the Son to have life in himself;
Jhn 6:48
I am that bread of life.
Jhn 11:25
Jesus said unto
her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he
that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet
shall he live:
Jhn 3:36
He
that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he
that believeth
not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of
God abideth on him.
Jesus is the Word of God, Eternal life, the Resurrection, the
Incorruptible Seed through whom all who believe in Him are born again, receive
His eternal life, the forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation:
1Pe 1:23Being born
again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which
liveth and abideth for ever. 1Pe 1:5; Jude 1:24.
We understand through the
whole context of scriptures that eternal life is not a thing, but the very
person of Jesus Christ Himself in whom we live and move and have our being
through faith in Him, receiving the gift of grace and His eternal life.
Gal3:16
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.
He saith not, And to
seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
2Co5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he
is a new creature: old
things are passed away;
behold, all things are
become new.
The New Covenant of Jesus Christ is an everlasting Covenant: Gen 17:7
And I will establish my covenant between me and
thee and thy seed after thee in
their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a
God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
Jer 31:34
And they shall teach no more every
man his neighbour, and every man his
brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the
least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the
LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Heb 10:17And their sins and iniquities will
I remember no more.
Through faith in Christ the old man is dead, the believer raised
forever a forgiven New man with everlasting life- made one indwelt by God the
Father, God the Son Lord Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit.
Act 13:39And by him all that believe are justified from all
things, from which ye could not be
justified by the law of Moses.
Col 2:13
And you, being dead in your
sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath
he quickened
together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
This means the spirit of every believer- His church is
absolutely forever in God and one another indivisible from the Spirit of God,
and therefore absolutely no separation can occur because God indwells keeps His
people by His power forever:
1Pe1:5
Who are kept by the
power of
God through faith unto salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time.
Heb 1:3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the
express image of his person, and upholding all
things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat
down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Heb 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them
that obey him;
1Jo 1:9
If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Unfortunately, some misinterpret the above verse of 1 John 1;9
to mean that it is necessary to on an ongoing basis apologize to God for each
sin after we are saved to keep being forgiven of our sins, which totally
ignores the New Covenant that God no longer remembers any sins against the
believer. The power of the sinless blood of Jesus Christ washes all who believe
from all sins forever, past,
present, and future.
John defends the New Covenant meticulously:
1Jo 3:8
He
that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this
purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jo 3:9
Whosoever is
born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is
born of God.
God the Son of God Jesus
Christ teaches all:
Mat 7:18
A good tree cannot bring
forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring
forth good fruit.
1Jo 2:12
I write unto you, little
children, because your
sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
Jhn 14:6
Jesus saith unto
him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
False teachers intentionally pervert/teach that any verses in
scriptures where God warns, rebukes, or disciplines His people means that He
punishes them and they lose their salvation forever.
Heb 3:14
For we are
made partakers of Christ, if we
hold the beginning of our
confidence stedfast unto the end;
Heb
3:14 is a statement of fact that frightens those who in error believe they can
lose eternal salvation/life. They live in anxiety-full of fear and doubt that
they have the ability to somehow, by their own efforts stay saved because they
are ignorant/untaught of the absolute truth of God according to His inerrant
word: Heb 8:12; Heb 10:17; Heb 6:10; Jude 1:24-25; Rom
6:22; 1Co
1:8
Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that
ye may be blameless in the day of
our Lord Jesus Christ.
Instead
of joy in the Lord, they live in fear of losing/being abandoned by Jesus the
very one they love and need above all:
But for those who know and embrace the truth we know within the
whole context of scriptures in both the Old and New Covenants that Heb 3:14
simply means that every Christian can be confident that God will not
arbitrarily cast us away at the end, but that He will faithfully receive us as
partakers of Christ, unto Himself: Jude 1: 24:
1Co 1:9
God is faithful, by whom ye
were called unto the fellowship of
his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
This is often taken out of context of scripture to falsely teach
the poor believer has to struggle possibly in vain to stay saved. However, we
know that long before we get to Heb 3;14 and continuing to the end God gives us
all much and many assurances that He will keep us to the end, the proof being
that by His power we will remain steadfast to the end out of love and trust in
Him. Again, the New Covenant reverberates throughout scripture we are a
forgiven people whose sins are totally abolished and none are ever remembered
by Him. We can therefore always have every confidence in Jesus knowing nothing
can separate us from Him, and we are new Creatures indivisible and one in
spirit in Him in God.
2Co 2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to
triumph in Christ, and maketh
manifest the savour of
his knowledge by us in every place.
1Ti 1:19 18This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the
prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good
warfare; 19Holding faith, and a
good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made
shipwreck: 20Of whom is Hymenaeus
and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to
blaspheme.
1Ti 1:20
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I
have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to
blaspheme.
Hymenaeus and Alexander did not lose their salvation;
they never had it. They rejected God and were preaching lies about the gospel,
turning people away from the faith.
Certainly, we know from Jesus’ parables of the differences
between the wheat and the tares although they may look similar, only one the wheat bears good fruit. GOOD FRUIT AND
ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BEAR EVIL FRUIT ACCORDING TO THE ABSOLUTE INERRANT TRUTH OF
LORD JESUS CHRIST GOD THE SON OF GOD:
Paul turned Hymenaeus and Alexander over to Satan in a
desperate last-ditch effort to stop them from preaching lies, turning people
away from God. Apparently, this had no effect on these men and another man in
later verses because they kept doing evil, proof positive they were imposters,
and not true believers:
2Ti 2:17And their word will
eat as doth a canker: of
whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
2Ti 4:14
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according
to his works:
2Pe 2:22
But it is happened unto them according
to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his
own vomit again; and the sow that was
washed to her wallowing in the mire.
God is Sovereign, who created all things, people, and powers
which He can use for His purposes. Paul the apostle is saved, never lost His
Salvation, but God gave him a thorn in the flesh from Satan not to condemn him,
but for correction to prevent pride due to the multitudes of revelations he had
received from God: 2Co 12:7
And lest I should be exalted above
measure through the abundance of
the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in
the flesh, the messenger of
Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above
measure.
I frankly do not know what this thorn in Paul’s flesh was, but
of the utmost importance it was something he suffered from that kept him humble
as a constant reminder that he was not above the brethren because of all he had
received from God. Paul prayed God would remove it and God denied his request.
God gave power/authority to His apostles to use Satan as a tool.
This power ended with the apostles, however, the church can discipline a member
by rejecting them from their fellowship temporarily or permanently depending on
whether or not the member repents of their wrong doings.
In another example Paul tells of a church that ignored a member
who was unrepentantly fornicating as though it was nothing. They obeyed Paul when he demanded that they
reject and turn that member over to Satan for correction. In later verses we
find that the member repented, and Paul encouraged them to receive him in love
again in fellowship.
NOTE: ONLY THE APOSTOLIC
MINISTRY HAD AUTHORITY FROM GOD TO USE SATAN AS A TOOL TO DESTROY OR CORRECT.
THIS P0WER IS NOT GIVEN TO THE CHURCH. HOWEVER, THE CHURCH RETAINS THE
POWER/AUTHORITY FROM GOD TO DISCIPLINE OR REMOVE UNREPENTANT MEMBERS WHO SIN
FROM THEIR FELLOWSHIP TEMPORARILY OR PERMANTLY DEPENDING ON WHETHER THE MEMBER
REPENTS OR NOT. NO ONE IS ABOVE CHURCH DISCIPLINE.
Again, false teachers intentionally HUNT scriptures to pervert/teach the lie that ANY VERSES in
scriptures where God warns, rebukes, or disciplines His people means that He
punishes them and they lose their salvation/eternal life forever.
In Rev 3:11
Behold, I come quickly: hold that
fast which thou hast, that no
man take thy crown.
To take: to take by craft (catch, used of hunters, fisherman,
etc.), to circumvent one by fraud.
The false teacher lies to teach that Rev 3:11 means that a man
can take a believers’ crown and they would lose their salvation/eternal life.
However, the truth is that this verse strongly encourages the believer that
they have power to keep their crown from those who by craft would seek to take
it.
We clearly understand that the warnings, and even the severe
rebukes throughout scriptures given by God and from Lord Jesus to the various
churches in Revelation is in no wise teaching that this means condemnation and
loss of Salvation/eternal life for believers. Instead, as Sovereign Lord He
disciplines His children and we note with every rebuke He aids, strengthens,
always encourages them with His love, sure promises and the sure cure for their
faults- repent i.e. to stop doing their thing and turn to Him steadfastly/whole
heartedly doing His will. Again, God disciplines His people out of love: Rev 3:19
As many
as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be
zealous therefore, and repent.
God disciplines His church today, Heb 12:8
But if ye
be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are
ye bastards, and not sons.
God has given us all free will, He will not force anyone to
love, believe and obey Him. However, all that truly love Him, will choose to
believe and obey Him out of love and trust in Him.
SURELY SOME WILL REASON THAT IF WE HAVE FREE WILL TO BELIEVE THE
TRUTH THEN WE ALSO HAVE THE FREE WILL TO CHOOSE NOT TO CONTINTUE TO BELIEVE THE
TRUTH AFTER WE HAVE RECEIVED IT. By this they claim this proves that a
Christian can fall away.
Stay tuned for a separate post where we can easily and
absolutely show biblically why such reasoning is gross error.
Rom 2:5
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest
up unto thyself wrath against the day of
wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
The false teacher is busy
night and day hunting for Bible verses to twist/pervert the absolute truth to destroy
the faith of many and turn people away from God to themselves. Behind their
malicious/malignant and vain efforts to defame, trample on and blaspheme the
eternal power of the beloved Saviour Jesus Christ and the eternal power of His
blood to save forever, is envy and hatred of Him, and His people. Yet, still,
we find that God is merciful, and does not desire any to perish, nor does He
take pleasure in the death of the wicked but would rather that they repent.
Therefore, dearly beloveds, God loves even His enemies, and
through Him we are able to love our enemies too. Mat 5:44; Luk 6:27.
God doesn’t command us to stand around and let people abuse us.
It is time to move on when people choose to reject and resist the word after we
share it with them:
Paul preached the gospel in a synagogue over three months some
believed and some becoming very hostile/blaspheming did not believe. Act 19:9
But when divers were
hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that
way before the multitude, he
departed from them, and
separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of
one Tyrannus.
We can’t force anyone to believe all we can do is tell them in
meekness of the truth of the gospel. It is clear that God commands that we are
all to be taught it and become well versed in it. I pray we will all see this
as a labor of love and not a chore for the Word of God was given to us out of
the love of Lord Jesus Christ, from God our Father.
Tit 1:9
Holding fast the faithful word as he hath
been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to
exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
2Ti 2:25
In meekness instructing those that oppose
themselves; if God peradventure will
give them repentance to the acknowledging of the
truth;
Jde 1:22
And of some have compassion, making a difference:
Jde 1:23
And others save with fear, pulling them out
of the fire; hating even the
garment spotted by the flesh.
Some will choose to repent and turn to God, and some will choose
to continue to actively resist the truth and go on to perdition. We see in
Revelation it didn’t matter how much God punished the wicked, they still cursed
and rejected Him.
The point here is that there will be people outside and inside
the church who will actively continue to resist the truth after they know it,
and God commands that His church is to separate from such:
1Jo 3:8
He
that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of
the devil.
Heb 5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that
are of full age, even those who by reason of
use have their
senses exercised to discern both good and evil. God enables and expects that we should know
what is good, and what is evil, that there is an absolute difference between
them.
Brothers and sisters, let us pour out from our hearts abundant
love offerings, thanks and blessings to God our Father for His abundant love,
truth, peace and fellowship into His kingdom through faith in the love and
kindness of God the Son of God Jesus Christ our Saviour, Mediator, High Priest,
and Head of the church. Much love and peace to you holy brethren, may the mutual prayers
of us for one another manifest mightily in many blessings, strength, wisdom,
and comfort through our God the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of truth that lives
within us with God our Father and God the Son our Saviour Lord Jesus Christ,
and who will be with and in us forever, wherein we have eternal redemption and
everlasting life: Heb 9:12; Jhn 3:16; Jhn 3:36; Jhn 6:47; Rom 6:22; Jhn 6:51 Jhn 6:58; 1Co 6:17; 1Co 12:13. All over the world and in every language for ever, eternal,
everlasting has the absolute meaning of being absolutely permanent. More
importantly this is the sole and absolute meaning of these words throughout
scriptures in both the old and the New Covenants. Although we know under the
Law it could only be obtained through keeping the Law, which God knew and
purposed that none could keep the Law, so that at the coming of Jesus
whomsoever believes in Him for ever receives grace- everlasting life and eternal
redemption through faith in His atoning work as a free gift, and never by works
of any manner nor kind. We know that there are sincere people who have been taught and
believe the satanic lies that there is no absolute truth and see salvation and
eternal life as temporary that can be lost. Many of them suffer hopelessness,
depression, anxiety, emotional and spiritual exhaustion in their never-ending
confessions of various sins to hopefully not lose their salvation and/or
fellowship with God. I pray to Lord Jesus that their eyes would open to the
truth and that they will believe all the everlasting truth of the New Covenant
that the atoning work of Christ has obtained eternal forgiveness for all that
believe in Him who alone saves, forgives all sins past present and future and
remembers their sins NO MORE according to the everlasting New Covenant of Jesus
Christ, given by God the Father for whom IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO LIE. Dearly beloveds, God left us His record so that we can look back
in time of Jesus’ earthly ministry and see the differences between His ministry
and that of the Levitical priesthood. God commands us to not un-see that the Levitical priesthood was
no longer fit to minister they hated and
were jealous of Jesus’ power and miracles. They broke the Mosaic Covenant,
willfully, spiritually and physically abused/neglected the people especially
the sick and the poor and were only interested in money and power. They were
derelict in upholding and obeying the law. In defiance of God, they suppressed
the truth of the Law and kept it from the people. Therefore, many sects arose
which the Levites neither corrected nor rejected. The Levites embraced all of
these sects and weaponized them to aid them to resist the Messiah and stop His
kingdom from ever coming into existence, and instead greedily establish the
kingdom of mere men for gain and power: Mat 21:15; Mar 15:10; Mat 21:33-43. God our Father shows us Jesus in contrast unwaveringly serving
God out of love faithfully upholding the Law although He was not subject to it
being sinless He would fulfill it, while caring for His sheep- feeding the
poor, healing the sick, casting out devils, preaching nonstop the gospel which
means good news of the kingdom, and still loving His enemies in hopes that they
might be saved although they were determined to kill Him and steal His
authority and kingdom: Mat 9:35. God commands us not to unsee the horrific/monstrous truth of the
corruption/rebellion of the Levitical priesthood. The Levitical high priest and
their coconspirators were so determined to kill Jesus that it got to the point
that Jesus couldn’t walk openly anymore among the Jews: Jhn 11:54. Still, dearly beloveds, we can see the embattled Christ not
wanting to lose any of the people, He urged all men to turn to Him and be
saved. One of the most moving verses showing His great passion, compassion and
deep desire to save the lost at all costs was when our embattled Saviour
continued to teach in the temple daily knowing the high priest and his
coconspirators wanted to kill him. Things came to the point where Jesus couldn’t walk openly
amongst the Jews because their desire to kill Him had intensified even though
they had seen His miracles received His teachings again and again. Therefore,
no Christian has any authority to teach believers to follow the Mosaic Law or
to emulate the Levitical priesthood FOREVER DONE AWAY IN CHRIST in any way or
manner whatsoever. If a dog bit our hand every time we tried to feed it, or if
someone spat in our face every time we tried to help them most if not all of us
are not gonna keep being abused and are going on about our business, choosing
to love at a distance, a great distance at that. Lord Jesus, although
condemning the evil doings of His enemies never ceased to show mercy in still
preaching to them the gospel message in hopes that they might believe and
accept the truth and be saved. On the surface it would appear that Lord Jesus was outnumbered. Many
of the people, the religious leaders, the sects, and even the devil showed up
to tempt Jesus, which failed. We find the devil for the first time in human
history outright possessing and attacking the people with all manner of
diseases even mentally. Some of Lord Jesus’ family members did not believe in
Him although they would later on. To top it off His disciples thought He was
coming to restore the Jews to power, John the Baptist had a moment of doubt sending
word asking if Jesus was really the Messiah, and one of His disciples, Judas,
was a thief and child of the devil who would betray Him. None of them understood who they were dealing with. The religious
leaders and the people mocked Jesus as He bled, gave up the ghost and died. The
devil and his demons gloated thinking they had defeated God and won the kingdom
of light that they would blight and stamp out in darkness. However, the priests
were shocked that the curtain of the temple was rent completely in two from top
to bottom. But nobody could be more surprised than the devil and his demonic horde
when Jesus showed up in the lower supernatural regions and stomped on the devil’s
head and took away from him the keys of death and hell, then made an open show
of his demons. Jesus conquered all His adversaries even abolishing death when
He arose from the grave on the third day having eternal life, all power and authority and the keys of hell and death, releasing
and bringing with Him the righteous old testament prisoners that had awaited Him
in Abrahams bosom and set them free. On earth the graves were opened and many bodies
of the saints that slept arose, came out of the graves and went into the holy
city and appeared unto many after His resurrection. Thus, the prophecy was
fulfilled that He led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men. God the Father testified of His Son calling His Son Jesus God
equal with the Father: Heb
1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and
ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Furthermore, the Father has declared: Phl 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should
bow, of things in heaven, and things in
earth, and things under the earth; Brothers and sisters, we see that the scriptures make it
abundantly clear why the Levitical priesthood, and the Law had to go. After the
resurrection of Lord Jesus, and His physical departure from earth His apostles went
forth to spread the good news and establish the church stalked and attacked by
the Levitical priesthood in every place. Some of the Levites believed and converted,
but the high priest with other Levites and the sects were determined to stop
the spread of the gospel, and jailed some and killed some of the apostles. In one instance the apostle John was deported to a desolate isle
to silence him. The Levitical priesthood of the Law was the biggest and deadliest
enemy of the gospel right up there with the devil. However, God is invincible, unconquerable,
all powerful. Therefore, if a thing be of God, it cannot be overthrown though
men or devil fight against it, they will never win, nobody beats God, God
always wins. We dare not unsee what God has commanded us to see and
understand- that He did not arbitrarily close out the Law and the Levitical priesthood.
Most importantly God wants us to understand that through the atoning work of
our Saviour He has established a new eternal incorruptible High Priest Jesus
Christ, Mediator of the New Covenant. EVERY believer is a priest under His high priesthood, and the temple of God is in His
people. Brothers and sisters, priests under our Saviour, High Priest, Mediator
and Head of the church God the Son of God with Power Jesus Christ, let us not
look back anymore or seek to imitate anyone or thing belonging to the Levitical
priesthood under the Law, done away completely in Christ. Instead let us go
forth unto Jesus our love and life as the family of God, and
priests to carry out His work and will and put Him first in everything for His
glory and our Good steadfastly out of love and trust in Him.
love and truth, FOR EVER serola
