A Christmas Poem
THIS WONDERFUL CHILD
This wonderful child,
So lowly and meek.
Is the one the Shepards,
Came to Bethlehem to seek.
Born of a virgin,
And in a manger lay.
God's most precious gift,
The truth, life and way!
Through this child's life,
We will come to find.
There's no greater love,
Or sacrifice of this kind!
Never did Jesus put,
Himself before our need.
Satan couldn't tempt Him,
With power or greed.
Jesus came as a baby,
So He wouldn't scare man.
Our King and Savior,
God's salvation plan!

Merry Christmas!
IT'S SOON TO BE CHRISTMAS!
It's soon to be Christmas,
When we celebrate Christ's birth.
As He came poor and humble,
Down to this planet Earth.
To be here among us,
And teach us His ways.
So we can come to know Him,
For the rest of our days.
He knew what awaited Him,
Before He was earthly born.
But He loved us so much,
He still suffered our scorn.
From an awesome God,
Such a great gift!
Jesus His only Son,
Our sinful stain did lift!
We must tell others so,
This life they can find.
A new life with Jesus,
Leaving the old life behind!
