The Conservative movement of today basically consists of individuals with various personal beliefs (both religious and ideological), but conservatism in general sadly rejects outright the absolute authority of the Bible, the Holy Word of Almighty God. It is a “bestselling” book widely reverenced, but too many Conservatives reject its Divine authority and preeminence. These “Subjective Conservatives” cannot see out of this box called time, and thus they are oblivious to the realities of Holy Scripture truth. This includes the coming establishment of the literal Kingdom of Almighty God on earth, as well as their own eternity destiny (John 3:3-5; Romans 8:5-8; 1 Cor. 2:12-14; Jude 1:19).


Many conservatives in the New Media are on a “suicide alert” today trying to cope with the present realities at hand. One in particular is radio host Michael Savage. He is the most moved and passionate about our declining American culture and government. Sadly though, Mr. Savage and others will not be objective about the realities of Almighty God and His Word to receive its simple message (Acts 16:31; Romans 14:17; 1 Cor. 15:2-4). Why not, you might ask? Well, for one thing a lack of genuine humility will prevent anyone from turning to God and knowing the truth (1 Pet. 5:6; Matt. 11:28-30). Committed and sincere but blinded in their pride, they are thus doomed to their own subjective world view of reality (John 5:37-41; Rom. 7:24-25).

Subjective Conservatives also sadly remain subjects of this world (humanity and time) in which they live, and they will not be objective about their eternal future and their humanity’s desperate need for a Savior (Rom. 1:17-22; 8:5-8; 1 Cor. 2:12-14). They are totally oblivious to realizing our greatest and most desperate need: the righteousness (perfection) of Almighty God which has been provided through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 10:2-4).

The Only Hope for the Conservative

In a day in which we see the utter abandonment of God-given common sense and moral laws, the unrestrained increase of governmental tyranny, and the collapse of our nation’s economy, may the Conservative abandon his subjective (unreal) worldview in favor of an objective one found only in Almighty God and His Word!

Only Almighty God has the remedies and solutions to get us through time and bring us safely into eternity future! Our greatest need is not world peace but peace with Almighty God our Creator and Sustainer (Isaiah 9:6; Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:14). Our greatest need is not conservative moral values but the absolute righteousness (godly perfection) that Almighty God provides to His fallen creation, i.e., man (Rom. 5:12-19; 6:23; 10:4).

It is only when a man or woman, boy or girl abandons their subjective, temporal perspective and looks outside themselves to Almighty God and His saving grace that Almighty God will deliver that individual from the oppressive confines of this sinful world bound in time. Time is only but the womb of eternity. Eternity is where we will abide forever.


May I ask you this very personal question? Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, as the Holy Scriptures teach? Almighty God so loved you that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for your sins and mine; that He might deliver you from this present evil world and give you forgiveness, pardon and eternal life (Gal. 1:4; John 3:16-17).

My friend, that is what this life, our temporal existence is all about! It's that simple: To know and worship Him in Spirit and Truth, and to enjoy Him for evermore (John 4:24).

May it be your all-wise decision to place your soul's trust in Christ today. I can promise you this of a surety - that you will never be the same!

Just a short update on an important story this week. I will be talking about it on Jimmy DeYoung's Prophecy Today on the radio tomorrow.



What we all need to watch is how the President of the Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, handles her remarks. She was endorsed by him at her selection to the position and she is currently on the Commission and the Council boards, resulting in a very influential position. I have speculated that they are the two most powerful people in the EU and we need to see where they are headed. This will be the first test to see if they are working as a team and hence opposed to Israel or whether Barroso willdistance himself from her comments. We must never forget that Genesis 12:3 says: And I will bless them that bless thee (Abraham and Israel) and curse him that curseth thee.




The World And It's Media War Against Israel

The Need for True Beauty

Almighty God makes clear in His infallible Word to fallen humanity (Rom. 5:12-19) their desperate need for True Beauty. This beauty is not a temporal, vain expression of mortal man or woman. True (Divine) Beauty endures for ever and ever. This beauty waxes exceedingly more beautiful as time goes on. This Beauty endures beyond the boundaries of time, and all who possess it will enjoy it forever and ever (Dan. 12:3; 1 Cor. 2:9; 15:42-57; Rev. 22:5).

Where is this beauty to be found? Through 6000 years of human existence, billions have sought worldly beauty and the prestige it brings. Countless individuals have sold their souls for beauty and immortality only to go the way of all the earth in the end (Heb 9:27). Oh, the endless volumes of testimonials that could be given by mortal men and women throughout the ages attesting to the futility of this fruitless quest (Psalms 39:5; 78:33; Eccl. 1:1-3). Such have put all their eggs in this fragile basket and have died bankrupt, miserable and hideous in the eyes of their Eternal Creator/ Maker. They will forever dwell in their shame and vile estate (Rev. 22:11).

Beloved, Time - and our earthly existence in it - is just a vapor, a grain of sand in the endless sea of eternity’s foreverness (Psalms 39:5; 78:39; 90:10; 144:4; Isaiah 40:6; James 4:14; 1 Peter 1:24). Oh, that people would look outside of their temporal, subjective, narcissist world-view and see the reality. Oh, that we might look objectively into the Word of Almighty God for true answers about the unknown mysteries of this fallen world (1 Cor. 1:30). We would then begin to comprehend the unsolved mysteries of time and life, and be set free from the limited confines of this fallen world (John 8:32, 36).


What is True Beauty?

What exactly is this True Beauty, one might ask? Quite simply, True Beauty is a gift from Almighty God (Rom. 5:16-17; 6:23). The free gift of True Beauty is provided to all by Almighty God (1 Cor. 1:30). True Beauty is our greatest need in the light of eternity’s fixedness and foreverness.

This pinnacle of wondrous Beauty is nothing less than the glorious Righteousness that Almighty God has provided for His Fallen Creation. This Beauty is found nowhere else but in Christ Jesus, the Savior of the Whole World (Rom. 10:4; 2 Cor. 5:21).

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints (Rev 19:6-8).

When one places their absolute trust in Jesus Christ and His saving grace, that individual is given the Beauty of the Righteousness of Almighty God and Eternal Life (Psalms 7:17; 90:17; John 3:16,17).

God takes on Himself our shame and sinful hideousness, and He bestows on us the Beauty of His Righteousness (Psalms 17:15; Isaiah 61:1-3; 64:6; Rom. 4:6, 22-24; 5:4; 1 Cor. 1:30; 2 Cor. 5:17; 1 John 3:2).

Oh, how will the redeemed of Almighty God shine and rejoice forever in the Eternal Beauty of the Lord! (Dan. 12:3; Matt. 13:43; 1 Cor. 2:9).

What About You?

May I ask you this very sobering question? Do you possess the Beauty of Righteousness that is found only in Jesus Christ? The Bible states in Isaiah 64:6 that “all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags [bloody menstrual cloths].” All earthly beauty will fade away, as countless billions have experienced and could testify. Only the Beauty of Almighty God’s Righteousness (state of perfection) will endure forever (Matt. 13:43; Rev. 22:11).

You do not know what will happen tomorrow (Proverbs 27:1). If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, may you do so even now by making that conscious decision to receive Him into your heart and life. Then shall your beauty endure forever as the stars of forever, and bliss and joy will you know forevermore (Matt 13:43; 1 Cor. 2:9). Place your trust in Him TODAY. Behold, now is the day of salvation (2 Cor. 6:2)! You will never be the same!

What is Sin?

Tiger Woods of late has been the center of great controversy in light of his sexual addictions and appetites. Tiger has many exceedingly great accomplishments in his young life. One though that he has fallen short on is the discipline and managing of his own heart and the unbridled passions.

Tiger is just the tip of the iceberg in today’s Red Light District American culture. He is par for the course in light of the countless others in the professional sports world and the entertainment elite industry that are part of this decadent and licentious pleasure seeking crowd. With their grand achievements and prestige their godless heart is still empty and seeking to find sustainment in the basest and unbridled passions of fallen humanity (Romans 5:12-19) that never satisfy their soul (Eccl 3:11). Countless of these in this industry can attest to that in the end. Only Almighty God can satisfy and fill the eternal void and vacuum of man. It is only when a man or woman turns to Almighty God and seeks His pardon and forgiveness that there is great healing, restoration and satisfaction (1 Cor. 1:30).

The Bible teaches; So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will never fulfill the desires of the flesh (Gal 5:16) and; Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires (Gal 5:24) also; But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts (Romans 13:34).

The law did not require Jews to be at the Temple in Jerusalem, as this was not one of the pilgrimage festivals. Every one observed it in his own place, not as a holy time. Jesus was there that He might improve those eight days of holiday for good purposes.

Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch when the Sadduciens asked him “How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ tell us.” They pretended to want to know the truth, as if they were ready to embrace it; but it was not their intention. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me (John 10:25-27). He had told them, and they believed not; why then should they be told again, merely to gratify their curiosity?

Miracles

Hanukkah’s theme is of a miracle. During Hanukkah Jesus spoke of His miracles: If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him (John 10:37-38). Jesus wanted the people of his day to see His miracles and believe in Him as a result. His miracles point to his divine and messianic identity. In this way Yeshua personifies the message of Hanukkah: God actively involved in the affairs of his people. Hanukkah reminds us that God is a God of miracles, not just of concept and religious ideals. He has broken through into human history and continues to do so today. All of us who know Yeshua can speak of God’s working in our lives (Gilman 1995).

Jesus is the Light of the World

Jesus preached three sermons in which he declared Himself the “light of the world,” and all three could have been during Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. (It is not clear from the text when this incident happened, but it was some time between the Feast of Tabernacles and the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah); both of these celebrations focused on light).Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them (John 12:35-36).

Just before Jesus announced that He was the Light of the world, Jesus had shone upon the conscience of those who accused the adulteress. Read the story in John Chapter 8. John also records Jesus healing a blind man (John 9:1-12) at about the same time (John 8:12 and 9:5) that Jesus declared himself to be the Light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing (John 9:5-7).

End Times

The story of Hanukkah can be compared with end-time happenings described in the books of Revelation and Daniel. Antiochus is a type of the antichrist. Just as happened under the rule of Antiochus, Daniel prophesied in Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The same powers promoted by Antiochus are in the world today. Worldwide immorality, and idolatry are the norm. We must come out and be separate. And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. The deceiver stands waiting to devour in this present culture (2 Cor. 6:16-17).

Was Jesus Conceived on Hanukkah?

Many believe that our Messiah, the “light of the world,” was conceived on the festival of lights—Hanukkah. The Bible does not specifically say the date of Jesus’ birth. It was not during the winter months because the sheep were in the pasture (Luke 2:8). A study of the time of the conception of John the Baptist reveals he was conceived about Sivan 30, the eleventh week (Luke 1:8-13, 24). Adding forty weeks, for a normal pregnancy reveals that John the Baptist was born on or about Passover (Nisan 14). Six months after John’s conception, Mary conceived Jesus (Luke 1:26-33); therefore Jesus would have been conceived six months after Sivan 30 in the month of Kislev—Hanukkah. Was the “light of the world,” conceived on the festival of lights? Starting at Hanukah, which begins on Kislev 25 and continues for eight days, and counting through the nine months of Mary’s pregnancy, one arrives at the approximate time of the birth of Jesus at the Festival of Tabernacles. I just finished listening on my IPod to Sarah Palin’s new book, “Going Rogue, An American Life.” I personally found this book to be quite fascinating, encouraging, positive and full of old school values which are absolutely missing from American culture today. No wonder why the American Left hates this book and Mrs. Palin. All that Sarah stands for is a threat to their secular, liberal, nanny-state ideology.

This book starts off with a call to Mrs. Palin at the Alaska State Fair from John McCain headquarters, then delves into the personal autobiography of Sarah’s life up to the present. It includes her struggles, joys, achievements, hard work, family, political service, overcoming endurance and singleness of vision for America - the land that she loves.

I personally love knowing what makes people tick - what’s behind their core beliefs and how it motivates them and their lives. Her “old school” upbringing of faith in God, hard work, family and love of country is what people love about her and what is truly gripping in this read. Her genuine honesty about life’s realities, joys and trials are quite refreshing in light of the current political hypocrisy that dominates the elite class of Washington’s aristocracy. She is truly an overcoming victor in the midst of life’s trials and tribulations.

This book had me glued to it. In the audio version, Mrs. Palin personally narrates her book with passion and with authenticity that is warm and personal to the listener. She answers all the questions that one might have about her in the light of her rush to popularity within the last year.

In this book Sarah talks about her upbringing, her family, her son Trig, her faith in Almighty God, her political career (Mayor, Governorship, and her VP run with John McCain) her “Going Rogue,” Katie Couric’s unprofessional, hit piece interview, the limitations that the moderate GOP put on her while running with John McCain, the political debauchery of present day Washington D.C., Reaganism, Conservatism, her love for country and her vision for America future.

This book is a tribute to the American dream, to all women and to all who work hard and possess steadfast determination with much endurance. These attributes when applied will bring about the success and a fruitful and encouraging life to all, as Sarah and others have shown us. In the eyes of the elite of Washington D.C., Mrs. Palin should never have been successful. All the things that she achieved were done without Big Government’s intervention.

To dislike this book and this dear American is to abhor the American dream, our Judean/ Christian heritage, morality, traditional family values, hard work and the ideals of our Founding Fathers and the American dream!

This book is a must read for all Conservative men and women, and for all Americans in general. Sarah’s life is a true success story - one which our Founding Father’s dreamed and envisioned for all Americans. Who knows what potential and future success that Mrs. Palin’s life holds? With Almighty God’s watchful care and Providential outworking in her life, her potential is limitless. I truly believe Sarah is the Deborah (see Judges Chapters 4 and 5) of today for America, and she was raised up to be a leader in America in light of its falling stature and decline. God’s hand is indeed upon her – that’s for sure!
