    GOD'S GIFT

Little baby on the hay, soon there will be another day when nails shall pierce Your hands and feet as you provide our sin's defeat......Risen Jesus on the throne, we lift our praise to You alone...For You're the gift that we received the moment that our hearts believe.

THANK GOD FOR  THIS GIFT, HIS GIFT!

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS IN YOUR HEART  and a HAPPY NEW YEAR...

    Many blessings!

    Love, Lois

    SOUL FOOD

    PSALM 103:1-5

BLESS the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:  3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases:  4. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;  who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies: 5. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. KJV

As you know, we need food to feed our spiritual body, and
that food is the Word of God.  So I would like to share with you
a poem that was sent to me this week.  It should help you plan
a 5 course meal, and it is titled........

                                      Soul Food

I love the taste of T-bone steak,
          Delicious every bite,
But there's nothing like the Word of God,
          For my spiritual appetite.

The Word of God has milk and meat,
And even ice cream and cake.
Take a slice of the Bread of Life,
And coffee to keep us awake.

Open your Bible and turn to Psalms,
          For David's famous buffet.
You can drink all the wine of the word you want,
And still feel fine the next day.

There's enough of the Word for everyone,
And no one has to cheat.
The Word of God is a smorgasbord,
So take all you are able to eat.

Let's have a little long suffering,
          Job gives the recipe.
          Patience is the main ingredient,
          Self denial is the fee.

          Wrap that up in temperance,
It may not make much sense,
          Cover that with contentment,
Then add some joy for strength.

          Let's have love for dessert,
          Jesus made this dish,
Cream of joy and peace together,
          Sift out all selfishness.

          Add some deeds of righteousness,
          Enough to make it sweet.
          Humility is the frosting,
          That makes the dish complete.

Or are you on a diet,
Cause the race seems hard to run.
          For a weight losing menu,
          Try Hebrews 12 and 1.

          Are you suffering from malnutrition,
And don't know what to do?
          Your spiritual growth! seems hindered,
          Try I. Peter 2 and 2.

If when every time you battle,
          the enemy always wins,
          Try some Holy Ghost Protein,
          And spiritual vitamins.

          God's Word can feed millions,
          And still have plenty left.
Because the Word of God is Soul Food,
Sent from the World's Greatest CHEF.
                                            Amen.

    With God's Love,

    Lois J.

    GOD IS OUR REFUGE

    PSALM 46: 1-11

    1. GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3. Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. 5. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8. Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10. Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

    With God's Love,

    Lois J.

    THE PERFECT SACRIFICE

    JESUS....

He shed his precious blood on Calvary, the only one who never knew sin, was the only one who could give mankind the opportunity for eternal life.  Because of God's holiness, there can be no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood.  Our Savior gave His life so that your sin-stained garments could be washed whiter than snow......

THANK YOU JESUS, I LOVE YOU BECAUSE YOU FIRST LOVED ME!

    With God's Love,

    Lois J.
