Sweeter than Honey
Words are very powerful. They have the power to bless and to
encourage. They also have the power to curse and destroy. No sweeter
words can a person hear than the words spoken to us from God Himself.
His words are life , and they are true and trustworthy. When we taste
something sweet, we enjoy the experience, and usually come back for
more. We experience this same sensation and desire when we read God’s
Word. Bible study can often be looked at as a dry and tasteless
experience until we take the time to be still and take a taste.
How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103 NKJV

Following Christ
The world may think believers are senseless for following Christ.
Our families may question our priorities. Opponents of our faith could
potentially torment us. But in light of all that God has revealed, the
price is easily worth the reward. Patiently persevering through trials
and hardships will yield an eternal life of inestimable glory. A few
seconds with God will eclipse forever any we may have faced while in
this world.
He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away
tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from
all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. Isaiah 25:8 NKJV

Could This Be the Christ?
There are many views about who Jesus was. Many say He was just
another prophet or maybe the don’t believe in Him at all. Oh He was a
good man they say, but certainty not God’s Son. Many of His own people
did not believe. Jesus is exactly who He said He was and fulfilled all
of the prophecies of the old testament about His life and ministry.
History goes right along with the scriptures about time and places. Yes
Jesus the Christ is real. He came as the ultimate sacrifice so anyone
who believes on Him could be saved. However there is one prophesy that
has yet to be fulfilled His glorious return which may be soon the way
our world is going.
Now some of them from Jerusalem said, “Is this not He whom they seek to kill? But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ? However, we know where this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.” John 7: 25-27
