This is my daily devotional thoughts and inspirations given me by God in daily prayer and scripture study.

5Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
       "God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble."[a] 6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you

This passage has been a great help to me. going through a divorce is hard very hard. I have some days when I don't think I am going to make it. really I think I am going to cry and not stop until I die. But then God grace will come to me through a song a person even a non-believing co-worker.

One thing I have learned if you ask for god to give you grace while you are in a humble state he will send it soon. In my case very soon I get a little enough to get out of bed. Then later BAM!! a big dose to make me sing and even be happy about my life.

Also I have learned not to listen to Satan. He has been telling me I messed up and God can not use me any more. Well I have news for him(he already know that is why he is telling me a lie) God can only use me when I am humble. It took this divorce to get me there. so in the end God gets the glory. And God getting glory is what life is all about.

    Alive in Christ

    Tim

P.S. if anyone wants to discuss this more send me a message. I will check a soon as I can

    I AM BACK

sorry it has been a while but things are great. Let me start by saying my wife seeking a divorce is one of the best things that has happened to me in a long time. I has forced me to look at my life and see I was a long way from God. during this process I have been doing a study on personal revival and guess what I needed it. I have been struggling with does God realy want to help me then the other night I read

Ezk 18-30 "Therefore, O house of Israel, I will judge you, each one according to his ways, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. 31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel? 32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!

I read this and cried He loves me
