The Oath
Centurion to Centurion The Oath is passed No false solemnity to denigrate Cutting deep with meaning Tradition, yes, but not of such import As to diminish Honor or Loyalty or Duty The words unspoken, the most deep of worth Desiring Liberty and Justice A sacrifice made of the same for others The watch is long The burden – grueling But the King is returning No one knows when “Stand Alert, Soldier!” “Hold Your Post!” For that is really Your Oath

The Tears of God
I have touched the Tears of God Streaming down the face of those who feel His Sorrow Sorrow for the Children The Children of God Like lost sheep, not yet fully knowing The Voice of the Shepherd Calling to them Words of Comfort Words of Chastisement Words of Guidance Words of Encouragement All in all: The Word A Voice unheeded In Sorrow
