WHICH WAY?
As we travel down life’s highway, we have the choice to either take the straight and narrow that will lead us to heaven. Or we can head down the super Highway that leads to total destruction. It seems more and more people are opting to take the super highway. It seems to be easier to travel on than the narrow one, but sooner or later it will come to an end and there will never be another one. We need to be sure we are going in the right direction on the right highway so we can be sure to reach our destination..Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at:

THE VISIT
I often wonder what would happen if we were visited by someone that was shabby dressed and maybe dirty and nasty looking?. Would we turn them away or try to provide them with a friendly visit. They might ask for food, or drink, or even money. I wonder what our reaction would be? What if we turned them away and later found out we had turned away Jesus?. We never know who will visit. Philippians 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others..[James 2:14-17] 14-What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15-If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16-And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17-Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

The Sure Hope
The Sure Hope We hope for a lot of things. I hope for a beautiful day today, I hope my favorite ball team wins, I hope I’ll make more money soon. We hope for many things, and we find ourselves disappointed by unfulfilled hopes at times. There is one hope that is a sure thing. It begins with waiting on and trusting God. There are probably times when God just wants to say , Sit down and listen will you? A little patience please!. Does God hear us when we reel off our requests as we run out the door in the morning? Of course He does . Problem is we don’t always wait on His reply..Psalm 40:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Time?
Time? We have all probably heard where did all the time go? It seems the
older we get the faster time goes. We are living in such a fast paced
world that even the younger people are having a hard time keeping up.
There seems to be so much to do. I know to many who have quit making
time for God, family and church. It is just work, run, sports, play,
everything except God. There is certainly nothing wrong with
recreation, or work we all have to work, and a little play time is good
for the soul. But we sure had better make time for God and family and
church. Or we may wind up wondering where time went when Jesus comes
back..Mark 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in
clouds with great power and glory.:27 And then shall he send forth the
angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from
the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

EVERY TIME SOMETHING FRESH
A very good message in this story.- Old John was a man of God and loved his village chapel. One day he was stopped by an acquaintance, who, by the way, was an ardent angler. “I say, John,” said the angler, “I have often wondered what attraction there is up at the village chapel. You go week after week to the same old chapel, see the same folks, sing the same old hymns.” “Wait a minute,” interrupted John. “You fish very often at the same spot, and in the same water, do you not?” “Yes, that’s true,” agreed the other. John smiled, and then exclaimed: “Well, you do not, for the water you fished in yesterday has passed on to the sea; and every time I go up to the chapel the Lord has something fresh for me.” –[Sunday School Times]

The Promise
Promises are easy made but sometimes hard to keep. We promise all kind of things, but sadly human promises are not always kept which can lead to all kinds of problems. Gods promises are different, we find one in Acts 1:4 that is from Jesus Himself, Creator of the universe and now resurrected Savior. What was this promise? He promised His disciples that they didn’t have to go through life alone. He promised He would send the Holy Spirit to equip them for their task. Did He deliver absolutely. We can be comforted in knowing that He will keep every other promise the Scriptures contain and there are many…Acts 1:4 and, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, said he, ye heard from me:

WHAT CAN WE COUNT ON?
There is not many people are things we can count on these days. We
can’t count on many politicians, very few doctors, not to many friends
especially when it comes to money. Even some religious leaders may let
us down. The lust of the world, money, and other things come before
what is really important. Love for one another and love for Jesus. Also
the promise of eternal salvation. That is something we can all be sure
of and count on..Ephesians 5:2 and walk in love, even as Christ also
loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to
God for an odor of a sweet smell.

THE WORD
There are a lot of things that are hard to trust in these days.Seems like every where you go some one is out to take advantage of or just down right beat or crook you. But it's so great to know there is still some one and His Word that we all can still trust in. We will never go wrong and never be taken advantage of by God and His wonderful Word. Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the word of our God shall stand forever..

LOVE OR HATE
Some people just love to hate. They will hate you because of your color
or your race, your religion, belief in politics, because you may have a
difference of opinion than them. They just love to hate. Although they
may say we don’t hate! You can tell by their talk that really they do.
The Bible teaches us we must love one another. We don’t have to like
the ways of some especially if they aren’t following the ways of our
Lord. Never the less we must have love in our hearts if we really want
to be good Christians…Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, love your
enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, Matthew 5:46 For if you
love those who love you, what reward will you have? Even the tax
collectors do the same, don’t they?
