Mark 5:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 And cried with
a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the
most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
Mark 5:7 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
7 He shouted,
“Jesus, Son of God in heaven, what do you want with me? Promise me in God’s
name that you won’t torture me!”

These are my thoughts.
To be judged by God will seem like torture for those that don’t
have Christ as Lord.
Job 9:17-19 King James Version (KJV)17 For he
breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause. 18 He will not
suffer me to take my breath, but filleth me with bitterness. 19 If I speak of
strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to
plead? Job 9:17-19 Good News Translation (GNT) 17 He sends
storms to batter and bruise me
without any
reason at all.
18 He won't let
me catch my breath;
he has filled
my life with bitterness.
19 Should I try
force? Try force on God?
Should I
take him to court? Could anyone make him go? Good News

storms, Storms often times cause any unneeded luggage to be removed, the storms
also causing us to draw closer to Him, there is always a reason for going thru
the storm. The storm can always cause us to be stronger thru Him. This storm
was to test Job’s faith. 18 While Job was grieving lose he ended up losing more until
he almost lost everything he had. Job never could have nay relief, there may be
times in our life where it seems like everything is going against us and we can’t
catch a break, this is how Job felt.
19 Job was asking what his friends expected him to do, Job
was not trying to think he could take God to court he knew better than that but
was wondering where their thinking was.

These are my thoughts. We all should have this reaction to the Lord.
Job 9:14-16 King James Version (KJV) 14 How much less shall I answer him, and choose out my words to reason with him? 15 Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge. 16 If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.
Job 9:14-16 Good News Translation (GNT)
14 So how can I find words to answer God? 15 Though I am innocent, all I can do is beg for mercy from God my judge. 16 Yet even then, if he lets me speak, I can't believe he would listen to me.

14 We can answer God, we can not out think Him, we only can point to the cross and let Christ answer for us but Job had no knowledge of the Savior but only had a hope for the Advocate because he knew he needed someone who could plead his case before God.
15 Job knew even though he was righteous that he needed the Lord’s mercy, he also was aware that God was His judge. God is our judge and the only way to in the case is for it to be in grace thru Jesus.
16 Job knew that the Lord may not even let him speak; Job had humbleness towards God. If God let Job speak it would be not only for Him to listen but for Job to hear his own words, God don’t have to have us speak to know what is on our minds and hearts.

Mark 5:5 King James Version (KJV) 5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

5 Night and day he was in the graveyard or on the hills, yelling and cutting himself with stones.

These are my thoughts. When we come to God we realize how bad off we were looking back.
Job 9:11-13 King James Version (KJV) 11 Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not. 12 Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou? 13 If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.
Job 9:11-13 Good News Translation (GNT)
11 God passes by, but I cannot see him. 12 He takes what he wants, and no one can stop him; no one dares ask him, “What are you doing?” 13 God's anger is constant. He crushed his enemies who helped Rahab, the sea monster, oppose him.

11 God is a Spirit we can not see Him unless He manifests Himself but we sure can feel His presence and know that He is there.
12 We have no power over God, God defeated sin on the cross, sin is live outside what God wants but He can put away an individuals sin when He chooses our pour chooses have does not mean have control over His will. We are not to question the Lord but just follow along in His plan.
13 God is love but God is just and sin angers Him and breaks His heart God will judge all those who think they can stand against Him none of them truly can they just have not been knocked down by Him yet.

Mark 5:4; Job 9:8-10
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7HNEDTCKYo
Mark 5:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 Because that
he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been
plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man
tame him.
Mark 5:4 Contemporary English Version (CEV)
4 He had often
been put in chains and leg irons, but he broke the chains and smashed the leg
irons. No one could control him.

These are my thoughts.
When we are in the world no one truly has control over us
all the time but when we come to Christ we give Him control.
Job 9:8-10 King James Version (KJV) 8 Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. 9 Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. 10 Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.
Job 9:8-10 Good News Translation (GNT)
8 No one helped God spread out the heavens or trample the sea monster's back. 9 God hung the stars in the sky—the Dipper, Orion, the Pleiades, and the stars of the south. 10 We cannot understand the great things he does, and to his miracles there is no end.
Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society

8 God made the heavens himself, we see how myth became a part of their understanding, they knew God created everything alone but they did not have any scripture at this time but He could tread the water He put them their.
9 The names mentioned in this verse are modern so that we can tell what they are Job most likely had other names for them. God alone know how many stars there are and can count them all.
10 We can understand some of what the Lord has done but never can fully grasp it, it is one of those things when we learn more we see the twice as much as we don’t understand. Job is simple referring to God creating the earth as miracle, we often times don’t think about the earth itself being a miracle from God but it is.

These are my thoughts. The influence of this world is strong but Christ can overcome it.
Job 9:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 If he will
contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
4 He is wise in
heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath
prospered?
Job 9:3-4 Good News Translation (GNT)
3 How can anyone
argue with him?
He can ask a
thousand questions
that no one
could ever answer.
4 God is so wise
and powerful;
no one can
stand up against him.

3 No one can argue with God but often times want to know why
and in time He always gives us an answer to that. God can ask us questions that
dumbfound us. God’s wisdom goes so much further then anyone ever Solomon was so
wise but he did not even come close to the wisdom of the Lord.
4 The only way we can stand before God is by having Christ
in our lives. Without Christ we have no power to stand but by the blood of the
Lamb we stand are able to be used by Him.
