Mark 5:42 King James Version (KJV)
42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

Mark 5:42 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

42 The girl got right up and started walking around.
    Everyone was greatly surprised.

    These are my thoughts.
God’s work often times will be surprise people.

Job 13:6-8 King James Version (KJV)

Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.

Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?

Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?

Job 13:6-8 Good News Translation (GNT)

Listen while I state my case.
     Why are you lying?
Do you think your lies will benefit God?
Are you trying to defend him?
Are you going to argue his case in court?

6 Sometimes we talk to much when we should be listening. We also want to be like Job and have the chance to state our case we maybe to before man but before God only case is Jesus.

7-8 They didn’t need to defend God. They also didn’t know that Job had sinned they thought so only because of what happened to him but if his sin was great enough for that to happen to him the whole world would have been able to tell what Job’s sin was. Job sinned like we all do but what happened wasn’t a result of his sin.

    Jude 15; Titus 3:3-5

Jude 15 King James Version (KJV)
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jude 15 Lexham English Bible (LEB)

15 to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly concerning all their ungodly deeds that they have committed in an ungodly way, and concerning all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

    These are my thoughts.
God will judge people, thru Christ we can be redeemed from our evil.

Titus 3:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    Titus 3:3-5
    JuliaSmith 3 For once we also were unwise disobedient, deceived, being slaves to eager desires and various pleasures, living in vexation and envy, hated, and hating one another. 4 And when the kindness and philanthropy of our Saviour God was made evident, 5 Not of works in justice which we did; but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and the renovation of the Holy Spirit;

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

3 We once lived in the ways of the world but we now have Jesus and should live in His ways not ours. We were disobedient not just to God but to man’s authority as well. We were deceived and didn’t believe the truth which is in Jesus. We were slaves to self now we are servants of the Lord. We were full of hate and now we can be full of God’s love.

4 The kindness, His love was shown on the cross and us personally it was shown when we received His grace by faith in Jesus.

5 We can never and could never do enough to deserve what we gain thru grace. We can only be saved by Christ. He changes us in a way no works could ever do, we become His work.

    Mark 5:41; Job 13:4-5

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Jh6-rowBxY

Mark 5:41 King James Version (KJV)

41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.

Mark 5:41 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

41 He took the twelve-year-old girl by the hand and said, “Talitha, koum!” which means, “Little girl, get up!”

    These are my thoughts.

With Jesus we get up from the death of sin and get up and move in Him.

Job 13:4-5 King James Version (KJV)

4 But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.

5 O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.

Job 13:4-5 Good News Translation (GNT)

    4 You cover up your ignorance with lies;

you are like doctors who can't heal anyone.

5 Say nothing, and someone may think you are wise!

4 Many ties because people don’t understand they just lean on lies they tell or the lies they have been told because its easy to find lies in this world then to find the truth. Doctors who cant heal anyone are ineffective going to someone who isn’t a doctor is as effective as going to one who cant help you heal.

5 Job just wanted them to stop talking. Job wanted silence so maybe who could think maybe so he could pray and look to the Lord maybe he just wanted them to stop talking because nothing they were saying was helpful even though they were trying to help all they said were harmful because they didn’t truly know Job’s heart. Sometimes being wise is knowing when to talk and when to be silent.

Jude 14 King James Version (KJV)

14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

14 And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied about these people, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with tens of thousands of his holy ones

    These are my thoughts.

Enoch would have prophesied the flood but Jude is saying that the same will happen when the world is destroyed again. God will come to end the world with the church right by Him.

Titus 3:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

    Titus 3:1-2

JuliaSmith 1 Remind them to be subordinate to beginnings and powers, to yield obedience to authority, to be prepared for every good work, 2 To slander none, to be without fighting, equitable, showing all meekness to all men.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

1 We should be obedient to those over us but never so to where we do wrong. We are not to live without authority. Many people may have used being Christian as an accuse not to listen to leaders of the world but this scripture says we should, this isn’t saying that we shouldn’t pray for them or try to have Christian leaders because we should but we are to let them lead because God let them into the position but we are never to let them cause us to sin against God. God should our first authority.

2 We should not talk bad about others. Everything we say about them should be up lifiting or point them to the Lord. We are not to tear down others. We are to avoid any strife sometimes this cant be done because people will hate us because of the account of Jesus. We are to be gentle but have a boldness in Jesus.
