JUDAS' JOURNEY TO HELL
Brothers and sisters, much love, blessings and peace
to you in the gracious name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy
Ghost, three EQUAL eternal inseparable utterly holy
Persons in one God who lives in us and will be in us forever.
JESUS
CHRIST IS GOD THE SON EQUAL WITH GOD THE FATHER.
Jhn
14:28 - Ye have
heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye
loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I
go unto the Father: for my Father is greater
than I.
Scriptures interpret
scriptures without error nor any
contractions whatsoever. When Jesus said: “ My Father is greater than I”. It never meant
He was less to or inferior to God the Father. What it meant is that Lord Jesus
in His earthly life/ministry voluntarily
of His own free will chose to lower Himself/take on the form of a human
being, while never ceasing to be sinless and God the Son. Only in this form
could God the Father accept Jesus’ voluntary offer of Himself as the perfect
sinless sacrifice to pay for the sins of all who believe in Him. Phl
2:4 - Look not every man on his
own things, but every man also on the things of
others.
Phl
2:5 - Let this mind
be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Phl
2:6 - Who, being in the
form of God, thought
it not robbery to be equal with God:
Phl
2:7 - But made himself of no reputation, and
took upon him the form of a servant, and was
made in the likeness of men:
Phl
2:8 - And being found in
fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and
became obedient unto death, even the death of the
cross.
God has given us His Son Jesus as the supreme example
of a humble faithful obedient Son who loves God His Father and His people,
selflessly putting the will of the Father above His own out of complete trust
in the goodness of the Father towards all men. We likewise ought to have the
same mind as Christ- willingly subject ourselves to the will of God the Father,
and seek not just our own interests, but the interests of others as well, out
of love and trust in God.
After Lord Jesus made the perfect atonement for sins,
He was exalted by God the
Father as He had always been before coming to earth: Phl
2:9 - Wherefore God also hath highly
exalted him, and given him a name which is
above every name:
Phl
2:10 - That at the name of
Jesus every knee should bow, of things in
heaven, and things in earth, and things under
the earth;
Phl
2:11 - And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the
glory of God the Father.
God commands
that Jesus receive equal worship with Himself:
Jhn
5:23 - That all men should
honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He
that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath
sent him. We shall worship God
and the Lamb for all eternity: Rev
5:13 - And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such
as are in the sea, and all that are
in them, heard
I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him
that sitteth upon the throne, and unto
the Lamb for ever and ever.
We can do nothing without Jesus. We cannot grow to
maturity without the gospel. Jesus
Christ is the Word of God. He alone is ordained by God the Father to be
the only spiritual food that can nourish and sustain the people of God now and
forever in the kingdom of God to come Rev
7:17. God
commands us to study His word and live it in this present evil world. Scripture interprets scripture
without error nor contradictions of any kind nor in any manner whatsoever.
We fully understand evil people, wicked persons
through the perspective of the abundant goodness of God our Father who wants
all men to be saved and has provided the sole means of permanent forgiveness of
sins through the atonement of His only Son Jesus Christ. All men are born of
rebel Adam with a sin nature loving sin, on a journey to hell. However, by the
grace of God in sending His only sinless Son Jesus, all who believe in Him are
forgiven of all their sins, and guaranteed a one-way free ticket on an
irreversible-non-cancellable journey into the kingdom of God forever. The Bible teaches us that there are evil,
wicked people who hate God, His people, and desire to destroy His kingdom. Evil
people are not benign, for they persecute the church on earth. It doesn’t matter
how often or long they hear the gospel, they will reject it.
Lord Jesus teaches us to: Mat
7:15 - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they
are ravening wolves.
Evil people come disguised like a godly person, can speak church-ese, but
inwardly they are like a savage animal raging with contempt and hatred for God
and His people.
The apostle Paul warns the church that: Act
20:29 - For I know this, that after my departing shall
grievous wolves enter
in among you, not sparing the flock.
Act
20:30 - Also of your own
selves shall men arise, speaking perverse
things, to draw away disciples after them. Evil
people come into the church and also arise from within the church. They are
vicious, cruel, greedy, destructive. They don’t care how badly they damage the
flock through the use of perverted doctrines to draw followers to themselves.
Timothy warns: 1Ti
4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the
latter times some shall
depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti
4:2 - Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a
hot iron; the
scriptures is clear that the believer is holy of a godly spiritual nature from
God the Father, not carnal. Evil people are unholy of a devilish spiritual nature,
carnal, of darkness like their father the devil, with the same evil nature, and
hatred of God and His people.
The apostle Peter warns:
2Pe
2:1 - But there
were false prophets also among the people, even as there
shall be false
teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the
Lord that bought them, and bring upon
themselves swift destruction.
Evil people have not changed they still come in
secretly, but at some point, they pervert scripture and attack the divinity of
the Trinity in whole or in part. They are spiritual poisoners spreading
heretical doctrines amongst gullible/ignorant believers.
Brothers and sisters, God commands us to drink solely
from the Lord’s table. Anyone claiming to be a Christian, who willingly accepts
the heresy and doctrines of devils from these evil people are seen as evil too
in the eyes of God and His people.
1Co
10:21 - Ye cannot drink the
cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye
cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the
table of devils.
2Jo
1:10 - If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2Jo
1:11 - For he that
biddeth him God speed is partaker of
his evil deeds.
2Ti
3:5 - Having a form of
godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Evil
people hide behind a façade of godliness while they deny the equal divinity of
the God Head and the power of the body and blood of Christ to forgive all sins
forever for all who believe in Him.
The Bible does not teach that unrepentant evil people
are evil because they are ignorant of the truth. To the contrary God’s word informs
us: Rom
1:19 - Because that
which may be known of
God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto
them.
Rom
1:20 - For the
invisible things of him from the creation of the
world are clearly
seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that
they are without excuse: Rom
1:21 - Because that,
when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were
thankful; but became
vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was
darkened.
Rom
1:28 - And even
as they
did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a
reprobate mind, to
do those things which are not convenient;
Rom
1:32 - Who knowing the judgment of
God, that they which commit such
things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have
pleasure in them that do them. 2Ti
3:8 - Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of
corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2Ti
3:9 - But they shall
proceed no further: for their folly shall
be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
Tit
1:15 - Unto
the pure all things are pure: but unto
them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is
defiled.
Tit
1:16 - They profess that they
know God; but in
works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
This
is why God commands every Christian to know the scriptures: 1Jo 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they
are of God: because many false
prophets are gone out into the world.
It is true that Judas’ fall was
prophesied in the scripture, and Christ’s sinless sacrifice was also prophesied
in scripture. However, we know that from the beginning God gave men free will.
God doesn’t force anyone to love and obey Him. He desires that people would
willingly love and trust Him. Even in the garden of Eden, we see that Eve was
tricked by the serpent, but Adam willingly sinned in eating from the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil, choosing to please himself not God, plunging
the whole creation and human race into sin, depravity, spiritual and physical
death and separation from God. Jesus didn’t have to die on the cross, He did so
voluntarily of His own free will. When one of His disciples tried to fight and
save Him Jesus said: Mat
26:53 - Thinkest
thou that I cannot now pray to
my Father, and he shall presently
give me more than twelve legions of angels? Jesus
voluntarily gave Himself to pay for our sins out of love for His Father and all
men.
Judas did not have to betray Lord Jesus
but chose to do so of His own free will. We notice Judas went back to the chief
priests to return the money they paid him to betray Lord Jesus, but he never
went back to his fellow disciples in repentance, nor did he return the money he
stole over the years while he was in charge of the bag that stored
contributions given to the ministry. Judas had an impenitent heart. Christ withheld
nothing from Judas, treated him the same as the other disciples, knowing he was
a thief and a betrayer. Judas over the course of Jesus’ entire earthly ministry
directly heard the gospel and the warnings from the Lord, saw the miracles, saw
the power to cast out devils, received power to preach the gospel. Jesus even
washed Judas feet and gave him the communion dinner, and never threw him out of
His presence. Nothing none of the love,
mercy, care, teachings etc. from Jesus made any difference to Judas, he chose
not to believe in Jesus. In Judas and in all evil people throughout scriptures
and in the world, we grasp the nature of evil people, the will of evil people,
and the works of evil people who impenitently choose to reject the goodness and
mercy of God. We clearly see the justice of the wrath of God and the necessity
of heaven, hell, and ultimately the day when all unrepentant evil persons shall
be separated from the kingdom of God forever. How God commands the church
individually and as a whole to deal with evil persons is clearly laid out in
scripture in the general, specific and the minutiae.
Love and truth forever, serola
