Expanse of God’s Mercy
Fear of God can sometimes be defined as reverence and awe of Him.
In that heealthy fear there is reality that we deserve eternal
punishment and separation from God but His great mercy pardons us from
the consequences of every sin. He rescues us from hell and from a life
that we could mess up if left on our own. Although we sin over and over
His abundant grace washes over us like a waterfall every moment of
every day.
For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; Psalm 103:11 NKJV

Bible Treasures
What makes God’s Word so valuable? The Word teaches us right
doctrine: what to believe about God, man, salvation, and grace, to name a
few. The Word rebukes and corrects behavior not pleasing to God and
sets us right again. The Bible gives examples to emulate of living in
right relationship with God, as well as examples of the consequences of
not doing so. God’s Word is a Christian’s lifeline our greatest treasure
on earth. Is the inspired Word of God a precious treasure to you?
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16 NKJV

Remember Me
Jesus said “Remember me,” but the disciples were contending for
greatness so they thought. In reality they were interested in positions
from which one may be shouted down by a fickle populace in a single
hour. There is no reason to contend for real greatness or to endeavor to
snatch it form others, for it is open to all and springs from within.
Greatness is that quality which chooses good with invincible resolution;
resists temptation; bears the heaviest burdens; calmly and courageously
faces the storm; and relies on truth, virtue and God.
Now there was also a dispute among them, as to which of them should be considered the greatest. Luke 22:24 NKJV

God’s Children
God offers each of us the privilege of becoming His children. The
depth of His love and sacrifice makes no earthly sense and transcends
that of any earthly parent. Nevertheless, we must embrace Him as Father
and undergo His miraculous transformation in order to reap those
benefits. Do we deserve such love? Absolutely not! Can we earn it?
Never! Does He offer it anyway? Always.
Behold, what manner of
love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the
sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him
not. 1John 3:1 KJV

Courage Prevails
Courage can prevail in all of us because it’s not something we
conjure up; courage is conveyed to us by God. Fear leads us to freeze or
hesitate. God gives us the authority and ability to step out
courageously. Fear cause us to focus on pleasing and preserving
ourselves, Fear muddles our minds so we don’t think or act godly. You
don’t have to let fear keep you from living God’s plan. Allow God’s
spirit of courage to prevail.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
