    Mark 5:2; Job 9:5-7

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-1B5GTdixs

Mark 5:2 King James Version (KJV)

And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

Mark 5:2 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

When he was getting out of the boat, a man with an evil spirit quickly ran to him

    These are my thoughts.

When we get caught up with something evil do we run to Jesus or run further away from Him.

Job 9:5-7 King James Version (KJV)

Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.

Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.

Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.

Job 9:5-7 Good News Translation (GNT)

    Without warning he moves mountains
and in anger he destroys them.
    God sends earthquakes and shakes the ground;
he rocks the pillars that support the earth.
He can keep the sun from rising,
and the stars from shining at night.

5 God has the power to move all the earth; we refer to them as earthquakes. God does not always bring earthquakes because of anger. God has all the power of the earth and heaven.

6 The pillars that support the earth, while in Job it is mentioned that the earth is stationary in the heavens not being held up Job, is referring to pillars that hold the earth up, this is a metaphor saying that God can shake the foundations of the earth, this happened before Job’s time with the flood and God’s reaction at Babel which shook the world and changed it forever.

7 God can keep the sun from rising but He does not, He lets it rise on the just and unjust. There are times that we can not see stars shining and see them only at certain times but Job is more saying that God can have stars light be burned out. We as Christians should not let us be like the stars that are burned out but be like the earth in verse 6 and move as He moves us.

Mark 5:1 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

    These are my thoughts.

Sometimes we have to cross the waters of this life.

Job 9:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

    Then Job answered and said,

I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?

Job 9:1-2 Good News Translation (GNT)

    A)" data-cr="#cen-GNT-14323A" style="box-sizing: border-box;">1-2 Yes, I've heard all that before.
But how can a human being win a case against God?

1-2 We can’t win a case against God we stand guilty, no matter how much good we have done it was under us being slaves to sin, no good can make us have a relationship with the Lord with the exception of accepting Jesus dying for this cause, Job had faith that would carry to the cross of Jesus as those of the Old had today we either have Christ or stand guilty without a case, let Jesus be our case.

    Mark 4:41; Job 8:20-22

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61-1hCGV580

Mark 4:41 King James Version (KJV)
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Mark 4:41 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

41 Now they were more afraid than ever and said to each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

    These are my thoughts.
Who is this; this was Christ, God who became man.
Job 8:20-22 King James Version (KJV)
20 Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
21 Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, and thy lips with rejoicing.
22 They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.

Job 8:20-22 Good News Translation (GNT)

20 But God will never abandon the faithful
or ever give help to evil people.
21 He will let you laugh and shout again,
22     but he will bring disgrace on those who hate you,
and the homes of the wicked will vanish.

Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

20 God never abandons His people God is righteous; He does let us go thru trials so that we can cling to Him. God does send help to people who don’t have Him at times but it is always done them to bring them to Him, God never aids evil though.

21 God Spirit can cause joy even when we are at our lowest point.

22 God will judge those who don’t have Him they will answer for everything that they do.

    Mark 4:40; Job 8:16-18

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nv8J2au4UXQ

Mark 4:40 King James Version (KJV)

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

Mark 4:40 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

40 Jesus asked his disciples, “Why were you afraid? Don’t you have any faith?”

Contemporary English Version (CEV) Copyright © 1995 by American Bible Society

    These are my thoughts.

We having faith should not fear because nothing is bigger then our Lord, this does not mean we won’t fear but have no reason to.

Job 8:16-18 King James Version (KJV)

16 He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden.

17 His roots are wrapped about the heap, and seeth the place of stones.

18 If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.

Job 8:16-18 Good News Translation (GNT)

16 Evil people sprout like weeds in the sun,

like weeds that spread all through the garden.

17 Their roots wrap around the stones

and hold fast to every rock.

18 But then pull them up—

no one will ever know they were there.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

16 The world is full of evil; it grows great in the world around us. They are like weeds trying to take away from our growth and try to cause us to die spiritually and sometimes even physically. We need to Son to grow as Christians.

17 Those of the world are not rooted in the Rock of Salvation Jesus so they have to look from place to place to find somewhere to lay there roots but nothing works and often times those of the world change where they are rooted time and time again because Christ is the only good foundation for growth.

18 Those of the world can be involved in something and be pulled out and those there would not help them but consider them a trader, we as Christians can run from the Lord and He starts to pull us back home. I would rather have the world deny me then to have my Lord not know me.
