END NOTES 6: SPIRITUAL POISONERS AND THE ASSAULT ON GOD’S
ABSOLUTE ETERNAL TRUTH
SALVATION IS PERMANENT NOT TEMPORARY. TEACHING THAT SALVATION IS
TEMPORARY AND CAN BE LOST IS A SATANIC LIE.
It is a complete denial of the Gospel message of absolute, final,
unchanging truth and that the Godhead lives forever.
It is a complete denial of the power of the blood of Christ to
absolutely forgive and save the believer of all sins forever.
It is a complete denial that the New Covenant of Jesus Christ is
for ever.
It is denial of the Holy Ghost sent down from God with the
gospel to guarantee/witness of the everlasting truth of God’s Word.
Mat
12:32
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of
man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it
shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to
come.
Warning: scripture never
contradicts itself. Therefore, we can easily see that anyone or thing that
attempts to use scripture to contradict/pervert scripture is error whether done
in ignorance or willfully. We know that the ignorant will believe the truth
when corrected by scripture within the context of the whole of scripture, but
the wicked never will no matter how many times they hear the truth: Rom 16:17; Tit 3:10: Act 20:29-30;
Salvation is permanent, not temporary because the believer is made one in Christ
in God, and cannot ever be separated from Him:
Jhn 5:26
For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath
he given to the Son to have life in himself;
Jhn 6:48
I am that bread of life.
Jhn 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he
that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet
shall he live:
Jhn
3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he
that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of
God abideth on him.
Jesus is the Word of God, Eternal life, the Resurrection, the Incorruptible
Seed through whom all who believe in Him are born again, receive His eternal
life, the forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation.
1Pe 1:23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of God, which
liveth and abideth for ever.
1Pe 1:5; Jude 1:24.
Gal3:16
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.
He saith not, And to
seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
2Co5:17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he
is a new creature: old things are
passed away;
behold, all
things are become new.
The New Covenant of Jesus Christ is an everlasting Covenant: Gen 17:7
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after
thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a
God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
Jer 31:34
And they shall teach no more every
man his neighbour, and every man his
brother, saying, Know the
LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of
them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their
iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Heb 10:17And their sins and iniquities will
I remember no more.
Through faith in Christ the old man is dead, the believer raised
forever a forgiven New man
with everlasting life-
made one indwelt by God the Father, God the Son Lord Jesus, and God the Holy
Spirit.
Act 13:39And by him all that believe are
justified from all
things, from which ye could not be
justified by the law of Moses.
Mat 7:18
A good tree cannot bring
forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring
forth good fruit.
Col 2:13
And you, being dead in your
sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath
he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
This means the spirit of every believer- His church is absolutely forever in God and one another indivisible
from the Spirit of God, and therefore absolutely no separation can occur
because God indwells keeps His people by His power forever:
1Pe1:5
Who are kept by the
power of God through faith unto salvation ready to
be revealed in the
last time.
Heb 1:3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the
express image of his person, and upholding all things by
the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat
down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Heb 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto
all them that obey him;
1Jo 1:9
If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jo
3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this
purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he
might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jo 3:9
Whosoever is
born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he
cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jo 2:12
I write unto you, little children, because your
sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
Jhn 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
False teachers intentionally pervert/teach that any verses in scriptures where God warns, rebukes, or disciplines His
people means that He punishes them and they lose their salvation forever.
Heb 3:14
For we are made partakers of
Christ, if we hold the beginning of our
confidence stedfast unto the end;
This does not teach the poor believer has to struggle possibly
in vain to stay saved because long before we get to Heb 3;14 and continuing to
the end God gives us all much and many assurances that He will keep us to the
end, the proof being that by His power we will remain steadfast to the end out
of love and trust in Him. We can therefore always have every confidence in
Jesus knowing nothing can separate us from Him, and we are new Creatures
indivisible and one in spirit in Him in God.
2Co 2:14
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to
triumph in Christ, and maketh
manifest the savour of
his knowledge by us in every place.
1Ti 1:19 18This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the
prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good
warfare; 19Holding faith, and a
good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made
shipwreck: 20Of whom is Hymenaeus
and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to
blaspheme.
1Ti 1:20
Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I
have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to
blaspheme.
Hymenaeus and Alexander did not lose their salvation;
they never had it. They rejected God and were preaching lies about the gospel, turning
people away from the faith.
Certainly, we know from Jesus’ parables of the differences between
the wheat and the tares although they may look similar, only one the wheat bears
fruit-GOOD FRUIT AND ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BEAR EVIL FRUIT ACCORDING TO THE ABSOLUTE INERRANT TRUTH OF LORD JESUS CHRIST GOD THE SON OF GOD.
Paul turned Hymenaeus and Alexander over to Satan in a
desperate last-ditch
effort to stop them from preaching lies, turning people away from God. Apparently,
this had no effect on these men and another man in later verses because they
kept doing evil, proof positive they were imposters, and not true believers:
2Ti
2:17And their word will eat as doth a canker: of
whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
2Ti
4:14
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according
to his works:
2Pe 2:22
But it is happened unto them according
to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his
own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her
wallowing in the mire.
God is Sovereign, who created all things, people, and powers
which He can use for His purposes. Paul the apostle is saved, never lost His
Salvation, but God gave him a thorn in the flesh from Satan not to condemn him,
but for correction to prevent pride due to the multitudes of revelations he had
received from God: 2Co 12:7
And lest I should be exalted above
measure through the abundance of
the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in
the flesh, the messenger of
Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
I frankly do not know what this thorn in Paul’s flesh was, but
of the utmost importance it was something he suffered from that kept him humble
as a constant reminder that he was not above the brethren because of all he had
received from God. Paul prayed God would remove it and God denied his request.
God gave power/authority to His apostles to use Satan as a tool.
This power ended with the apostles, however, the church can discipline a member
by rejecting them from their fellowship temporarily or permanently depending on
whether or not the member repents of their wrong doings.
In another example Paul tells of a church that ignored a member
who was unrepentantly fornicating as though it was nothing. They obeyed Paul when he demanded that they
reject and turn that member over to Satan for correction. In later verses we
find that the member repented, and Paul encouraged them to receive him in love
again in fellowship.
Again, false teachers intentionally HUNT scriptures to pervert/teach
the lie that ANY VERSES in scriptures where God warns, rebukes, or disciplines His
people means that He punishes them and they lose their salvation/eternal life
forever.
In Rev 3:11
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou
hast, that no man take thy crown.
To take: to take by craft (catch, used of hunters, fisherman,
etc.), to circumvent one by fraud.
The false teacher lies to teach that Rev 3:11 means that a man
can take a believers’ crown and they would lose their salvation/eternal life.
However, the truth is that this verse strongly encourages the believer that
they have power to keep their crown from those who by craft would seek to take
it.
We clearly understand that the warnings, and even the severe
rebukes throughout scriptures given by God and from Lord Jesus to the various
churches in Revelation is in no wise teaching that this means condemnation and
loss of Salvation/eternal life for believers. Instead, as Sovereign Lord He
disciplines His children and we note with every rebuke He aids, strengthens, always
encourages them with His love, sure promises and the sure cure for their faults-
repent i.e. to stop doing their thing and turn to Him steadfastly/whole
heartedly doing His will. Again, God disciplines His people out of love: Rev 3:19
As many
as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be
zealous therefore, and repent.
God disciplines His church today, Heb 12:8
But if ye
be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are
ye bastards, and not sons.
God has given us all free will, He will not force anyone to love,
believe and obey Him. However, all that truly love Him, will choose to believe
and obey Him out of love and trust in Him.
Love and truth,

END NOTES 6: SPIRITUAL POISONERS AND THE ASSAULT ON GOD’S
ABSOLUTE ETERNAL TRUTH
Brothers and sisters, much love, truth, peace and joy of our God
to you. Let us thank God our Father who has given us through the gift of grace
through faith in our God the Son of God Lord Jesus Christ and our God the Holy
Ghost who indwells us perpetual help, the guidance, and ability to do good works
out of love for God who will be with us forever to comfort us and keep us until
the day He brings us all home: let us totally eat and drink this spiritual
nourishment from Lord Jesus: 2Co 9:8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye,
always having all sufficiency in all things, may
abound to every good work:
Phl
1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will
perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Eph
2:15
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of
commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of
twain one new man, so making peace;
1Jo
2:12; Rev
1:6.
God in His eternal love and truth has given us the Bible- THE WORD OF GOD, to know
Him absolutely thoroughly and absolutely well, to ordain servant officers and
through gifts to the body general to feed the church spiritually to help them
grow to maturity in the gospel to live and share it with one another and in the
world and to meet the physical needs of the church when warranted.
He has laid out the syllabus in detail in His word of the first
principles we are to learn, be stable in to go forward to spiritual maturity in
understanding and faithfully living the whole of scripture within the whole context of the
whole of scripture out of love and trust in God.
Again, therefore, absolutely only by believing in God as testified in
the gospel written in the Bible the spiritual book given through the love,
truth and power of God can we know Him absolutely thoroughly and absolutely
well; equip the church, edify/build up root in Christ His church, unify the
church, protect the church from false teachers and doctrines of devils. Mixing the
doctrine of Christ with the doctrines of men and or devils is spiritual poison
and absolutely forbidden by God.
Warning: scripture never contradicts
itself. Therefore, we can easily see that anyone or thing that attempts
to use scripture to contradict scripture is error whether done in ignorance or
willfully. We know that the ignorant will believe the truth when corrected by
scripture within the context of the whole of scripture, but the wicked never
will no matter how many times they hear the truth: Rom 16:17; Tit 3:10: Act 20:29-30;
God presents all the truth in His
word, the good, the bad, the ugly, always for a reason/purpose and commands us
to understand and learn from it all. Those who Un-see the whole picture of the
Levitical ministry under the Law tend to mythicize, romanticize, fantasize,
glorify, and even imitate some aspects of the Levitical ministry, which we know is done away in
Christ even as prophesied and come to pass in the New Covenant.
Again and again, we know from the Bible that God gives no path
towards salvation nor pleasing God through the Levitical ministry of the Law or
mixing any part of it with grace, nor any other doctrine of men or women, because
in truth to do so is turning away from the grace of the New Covenant of Jesus
Christ.
God gives us minute details of the Levitical priesthood under
the Law of Moses, and we get an understanding of why they ultimately turned
from it, but does not justify it. The Law is good and shows us that man of
himself cannot please God and is a sinner who cannot be good without God.
None of the priests had any rest, no vacation, or self-care time
granted. The high priest had to serve unto death, but the priests under him could
retire at age 55, but still had to do various chores in the temple to help out. Num 8:25.
None of the priest including the high priest got a pat on the back
for doing a good job in carrying out their duties. No, instead if any of them
including the high priest, ( Exo 28:35),
made a mistake or omission in carrying out their duties in the
temple it was an automatic death sentence from God. There were no test runs or
do overs in the temple, they had to get it right each and every time or die if
they did not, no exceptions. Two sons of Aaron found out God is no respecter of
persons, as even Aaron and Moses: Num 3:4; Num 20:12; Num 20:24-29.
The Levitical priesthood had various duties commanded by God,
along with many sacrifices to carry out continually. Besides all this, after
the day of atonement which only lasted one day, they had to continually make
sacrifices to gain forgiveness for the sins of the people between the times
until the next days of atonement.
Any time the people sinned willfully or in ignorance they couldn’t
say directly to God “Oops I’m so sorry God for my sin, please forgive me”. Regardless of the day or night or time when any
of the people sinned and every time they sinned or remembered sins they had
forgotten but it came back to their knowledge, ( Lev 4:28), they had to immediately go to confess their
sins to the priest; the people had no direct access to God.
So, we can see how
the repentant sinners coming at all hours to the priest’s day and night gave
neither the priests nor the people any rest in addition the priests still had their
work to do in the temple. Let us not forget that the high priest and those
under him had to also confess and make an atonement whenever they sinned
too-God is no respecter of persons.
The Levitical priesthood was physically tired, mentally drained/wearied,
and dominated by love of money and the lust to retain power rather than the love
of God. They were fed up with the Law and would pervert it- remake it in their
own image to their advantage. It is certain they were not distant at heart with
the Sadducees who were the first atheists to appear in Israel with other sects for
they also worked together in resisting the Messiah, Jesus sinless life and the works of God
witnessed and proved that He is the Christ to the high priest who responded: Mat 26:65 Then the high
priest rent his clothes, saying he hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have
we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
66 What think ye? They
answered and said, He is guilty of death.
Again to un-see the whole of the Levitical priesthood that God
has revealed to us tempts one to be wrongly enamored of it. The beautiful clothing,
the majestic power of its high priest tempts to create a fictionalized version of it
as somehow having created God when the truth is that God created all things and
people – faithful Abraham being taken from amongst the gentiles. Again, we clearly see and understand that God is
not capricious or arbitrary in abolishing the Levitical priesthood forever and
establishing an absolutely eternal better, covenant, better High Priest based
on better promises, and the better, superior sacrifice of Christ.
The Bible what is always
meant as the word of God. It is the spiritual book of God given to His spiritual
people backed by the power of God and the Holy Ghost testifying of Himself and
His Son. In fact, Jesus Christ Himself is the Word of God and eternal life. Jesus
preached the word of God and commanded that we should hear it and believe it by
consistently doing it out of love for Him, and spread it throughout the whole
world. Our work is to get the gospel from the pages into our hearts by living
and practicing and sharing it faithfully in trust and love to please God our Father, not to
diminish it as unimportant and of no eternal relevancy: Luk 4:4
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
Jesus quoted preached the Bible-the Word of God.
Again, Jesus preached the gospel and continually taught from
scripture that it must be preached and that all men should hear and believe it.
Luk
8:21
And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
1Jo 2:5
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of
God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
God Himself gives us absolutely no alternatives to preaching and
believing what God reveals of Himself which is shown by living the Bible-the word of God- also known as the sword of the Spirit: Eph 6:17.
Heb 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even
to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a
discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
1Jo 1:1
That which was from the beginning, which we
have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we
have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
We know that when we believe the gospel we are saved, but we do
not automatically fully know or understand who God is and who we are in Him, we
all must be taught from His word the Bible. God forbids- gives no one authority
to make up their own private version of scriptures.
Interestingly, we note even the devil quoted perverted scripture to Jesus and Jesus fully dealt with the devil through the inerrant scriptures.
Love and truth

END NOTES 6: SPIRITUAL POISONERS AND THE ASSAULT ON GOD’S
ABSOLUTE ETERNAL TRUTH
Brothers and sisters, let us continually give our love offerings,
praises, honor and glory to God our Father who has given us His only begotten Son;
and God the Son of God Jesus Christ our Saviour in whom we have received eternal life through
faith in His body, blood, and resurrection, and to God our Holy Spirit for eternal
love, mercy, power and faithfulness in shepherding the people of God from
generation to generation, and who will be with us forever.
God wants us to know Him intimately and well through His word.
It cannot be said often enough God’s Word is the sole/only spiritual food that
can feed the church, and is for every single believer, no special credentials, or
proficiency in foreign languages, needed, and no need to be a great orator,
scholar, pundit, or guru for it is God that opens up the scriptures and gives
us the ability to comprehend and partner with Him to teach it and share it
within the context of the whole of scriptures: 1Jo 5:20;
1Co 1:30;
Eph 1:17;
Col 3:16.
We know that we can fully trust the authority, of the inerrant Bible:
The bible is easy to understand, because scripture interprets, proves, backs
up, authenticates, teaches, and corrects by scripture within the context of the
whole of scripture in both the Old and New Testaments without error nor contradiction.
Warning: scripture never contradicts itself. Therefore, we can easily see that anyone or thing that attempts
to use scripture to contradict scripture is error whether done in ignorance or
willfully. We know that the ignorant will believe the truth when corrected but the
wicked never will no matter how many times they hear the truth: Rom 16:17; Tit 3:10: Act 20:29-30;
2Jo 1:10
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God
speed:
2Jo 1:11
For he that biddeth him God speed is
partaker of his evil deeds. See Gal 1:8-9.
Lord Jesus teaches us: Jhn 10:5
And a stranger will
they not follow, but will flee from him: for they
know not the voice of strangers.
Jhn 10:27
My sheep hear my voice, and
I know them, and they follow me.
I thank my God and yours, holy people, for the many faithful
servant officers of the church who were diligent in teaching me and many others
to feed freely and often on the whole good news of the gospel of God, wherein I
found and experienced for myself even as others the greatest eternal love the
world has ever known sealed in eternal truth with comfort, peace, fellowship, and
friendship, because Lord
Jesus gave me and all believers kinship with Himself, with the Father, and the
people of God.
I therefore am personally fully convicted, convinced and fully
persuaded, that nothing in death nor life nor anyone or anything in all
creation shall ever be able to pluck me from the nail scarred hands of my Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ, who died to pay for my sins and has forgiven me forever of all my sins, past,
present, and future: Rom
8:38-39; 2Th 3:3;
Phl 1:6;
Heb
13:21; 1Pe 1:5.
Jhn 10:28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they
shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out
of my hand.
Jhn 10:29
My Father, which gave them me, is greater
than all; and no man is able to pluck them out
of my Father's hand.
Lord Jesus in His resurrection rose again forever for my
justification. I rejoice daily for His mercy being bought, washed in His sinless
blood, forever cleansed and made a new creation in Him with a new spirit,
heart, and mind, and a new way of life in obedience to Him in love. I am
complete and fulfilled in Jesus. This is true for every believer who rests in
the good news of
the gospel of Jesus Christ
who finished His work and ours too, and has given us His people complete,
rest, hope, peace and reconciliation forever with God our Father even being
made one in Him forever.
God has not cast off the Jews feel free to study on your own God's promises regarding the unbelieving Jews.
However, God has revealed to us the full picture of the apostasy of the
Levitical priesthood that became an enemy within of the gospel and commands us
not to un-see it. The Levitical priesthood after the resurrection of Lord Jesus
and the start of the apostolic ministry to preach the gospel and establish the
church continued their campaign to destroy the church of God with the help of
the sects their surrogates see Acts 4. However, we know some from the sects and
of the Levites and Jews were converted such as Paul, and Barnabas, among
others. The Bible clearly teaches and gives us the understanding why God established a better eternal incorruptible New Covenant and New High Priest, who would operate in the temple- that is within His people and not buildings made by the hands of men. 1Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. The New Covenant absolutely leaves no path to salvation from the Law,
institutions, organizations, denominations, various man- made doctrines or
movements such as revivalism etc., nor the gospel mixed with man-made doctrines. Modern day ecumenism would wrongly teach that
Christians should feel free to fellowship with others whose doctrine may differ
from scripture in “minor ways”, which God forbids. The so-called minor
differences are usually the tip of the iceberg, that hides the truth of a false
gospel derived from men and not God. God forbids the cherry picking of the
gospel. God will not negotiate, compromise, cut a deal, nor excuse the mixing
of the word of God with the doctrines of mere men. Yes, we should witness the
truth to them and fellowship with all who repent and receive the truth, but
avoid those who reject the truth.
Jhn 14:6
Jesus saith unto
him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Love and truth forever,
serola

END NOTES 6: SPIRITUAL POISONERS AND THE ASSAULT ON GOD’S ABSOLUTE ETERNAL TRUTH
Brothers and sisters, much love, blessings and peace to you in
the glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ our first love, Saviour, Mediator
and High Priest. we know that no one on earth will die without hearing the
gospel message. Some think in error that people in some areas on earth are so
isolated it would be impossible to get anyone in to witness to them. If God can
send someone to witness to a eunuch Ethiopian in the desert, God by His great
power will also do the same for those in similar situations, or in countries where
the gospel is banned: Act 8:26-40. I thank our God for the faithful teachers, elders and pastors
who teach the gospel so that believers are equipped to witness on the streets,
coffee shops, hospitals, nursing homes, to door dashers, postal workers, telemarketers
etc., and not to forget family members, friends. We note in the book of Revelation
God even employs an angel flying in the heavens preaching the gospel to the
whole earth-so we do not have to worry that anyone will die without ever
hearing the gospel and therefore will be lost, that is never going to happen: Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the
midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto
them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Thank God also for every brother and sister going to the ends of
the earth to share the gospel message. God does not require us to be a great
orator, know Greek, or have a degree but a willing heart desirous to save souls
and taught to have a clear understanding of the gospel. Our sufficiency is in
Christ and the power of His gospel not in ourselves. Let us share the gospel as
we are able, as well as to study it daily and live it out of love and trust in
God to please Him. The Levitical priesthood had over the years, from the time of knowing
the Christ had been born to the time of Jesus’ earthly ministry, had firmly perverted
the Law of Moses to washing hands before eating, fasting a lot, not eating with
publicans and sinners, keeping the Sabbath, paying tithes and a few other
commands and rituals. Even some of John the Baptists disciples were carried
away by this. However, we know that God commanded that the whole law had to be
obeyed not cherry picked. The Levites endorsed the sects with their own versions of cherry-picked
law as long as they followed the rules of the Levites. While Jesus was preaching the gospel of God and taught the
resurrection, the Sadducees believed and taught: Act
23:8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the
Pharisees confess both. The fact that the Levites weaponized the sects and used them to
attack Christ and embraced the Sadducees on the basis of shared Jewish ancestry
and paying tithes showed the level of apostasy they had sunk to. The people didn’t
bat an eyelash at what the Sadducees taught and believed, for having no
knowledge of the true Mosaic Law how could they defend it? The Levitical
ministry weaponized the sects to serve the Levites as an army of opposition to the Messiah
to destroy Him and preserve their earthly ministry and power. The people would
go along with this although in ignorance. The Levitical ministry did not believe John the Baptist: Mat 21:32, and
would have killed him were it not that they feared the people who believed John
was a prophet. Jesus condemned all the sects and, in a parable declared this
about the conspiracy and intent of Levitical ministry: Mat 21:36 Again, he sent other servants more than the
first: and they did unto them likewise. Mat
21:37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They
will reverence my son. Mat
21:38 But when the
husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let
us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. Mat
21:39 And they caught him, and cast him out
of the vineyard, and slew him. Mat
21:40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will
he do unto those husbandmen? Mat
21:41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked
men, and will let out his vineyard unto
other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. Mat 21:43 Therefore say I unto
you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to
a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. Mat
21:45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had
heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. So, we comprehend that God was not being capricious or arbitrary
in abolishing the Levitical priesthood. It had abandoned the Law, embraced
apostasy, and stood in opposition to the Eternal Messianic ministry. It had
become utterly corrupted, greedy for money and power, and cared nothing for the
people and willing to kill anyone that got in its way whom they felt threatened
their earthly kingdom of mere men, even if it was the Son of God Jesus Christ
Himself. The only way the Levitical ministry could operate to the level
that it did was by first perverting the Law and then any evil was possible. Jesus
still witnessed to the Levites and the sects, some believed in Him, but the religious
leaders never did and gained for themselves eternal damnation. This is a warning for us today, that we should be diligent to
defend the gospel message as God commands and enables us. No denomination, organization or institution is benign, each and
every one of them either adds, subtracts, or perverts scripture in some manner
or context, although some might be sincere, or claim to love the Lord. We should
witness to them, those who reject the truth God makes it clear we are forbidden
to fellowship with them. We know those who love the Lord show it by obeying Him. Be wary of ecumenism
which teaches that Christians should fellowship with those who have a “minor” different
interpretation of the scriptures when we know that God commands that we ALL speak
the same things and let there be NO divisions among us: 1Co 1:10; 2Pe 1:20; 2Ti 4:3; Gal 1:8-9. Love and truth forever, serola

END NOTES 6: SPIRITUAL POISONERS AND THE ASSAULT ON GOD’S ABSOLUTE ETERNAL TRUTH
The bible is easy to understand, because scripture interprets, proves,
backs up, authenticates, teaches, and corrects by scripture within the context
of the whole of scripture in both the Old and New Testaments without error nor
contradiction. However, Paul noted that for certain persons the word of God is
hard for them to understand: Heb 5:11-14, This addresses
Christians who are slothful in regular study and living the word remaining as
babes on milk.
Paul notes the cure- none of us have to
choose to remain slothful, but should study the word of God keeping it fresh in
remembrance by on-going study obediently actively consistently living and
practicing it daily out of love, and trust in God to please Him, and therefore gain
strength from the meat of the word-this is the faith that pleases God.
We all start out on the milk of the word but clearly are
commanded and enabled by God to mature by going forward to the meat of the word
where we gain OVER TIME a comprehensive understanding of scripture and any
correction needed within the context of the whole of scripture.
2Pe 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these
things; in which are some things hard to be
understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they
do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. This addresses the unrepentant or natural man
who sees the word of God as mere superstition or foolishness. 1Co 2:14; 2Pe 2:12; Jde 1:10.
The work of the Levitical priesthood to receive the blessings of
God through the Mosaic Covenant and avoid God’s curse/punishment and wrath was
to be faithful, offer the yearly sacrifice for the sins of the nation that
prevented God from destroying the nation, shepherding the people though
teaching them to obey the Law of Moses, Judging the people and making sacrifices
for sins including their own the rest of
the year after the day of the yearly atonement, keeping the Law pure and defending
it from pollution from within or without.
The Levites had knowledge of the history of mankind from the
beginning, the promises, prophets, coming end of the Mosaic Law with the installation
of the eternal Messianic New Covenant.
They knew the Messiah was coming, and had been born. Although they did
not know exactly who He would be, their work would be to help the people understand
the good news and prepare the people on what to do when He appeared.
However, God the Father knew Herod would seek in vain to kill
the Messiah to prevent His kingdom from ever existing, and the Levitical
priesthood would be chief amongst the many foes that the embattled Messiah would
face when He appeared and we cannot unsee what God has shown us. Therefore, God
the Father in His foreknowledge ordained and prepared John the Baptist in their
stead who would encourage the people and get them ready to receive the Messiah.
At this time, we note the rise of various sects such as the Pharisees,
Sadducees, Lawyers, Scribes acting independently, but allowed to operate in the
temple to pay tithes and to teach their cherry-picked version of the Law and
make disciples. We do not know the origins of these sects although some of
their teachers are mentioned.
What we do know from Paul the apostle who was taught in the doctrine
of the Pharisees from youth to adulthood is that these sects had been permitted
to operate by the Levitical priesthood for some years. We do know that only the
Levites were ordained by God to serve in the temple and strangers and/or anyone
not descended from Aaron attempting to serve were to be put to death: Num 3:10
And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and
they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that
cometh nigh shall be put to death.
We see that the Levitical priesthood had not just broken the Law but blew it to smithereens and there would be no fixing this forever in the
sight of God the Father. We understand that none of these sects were benign
entities, as mentioned before all of them along with the Levitical priesthood
had cherry-picked the Law to preserve their kingdom and power. All of them had
become spiritual poisoners, killing the truth of the good News of the coming Messianic
New Covenant, abusing the people leading them away from God, agitating and
inciting them to reject Jesus Christ in His earthly ministry. We want to take a bit of time for a closer
look at these sects that God has shown us.
Love and truth forever serola
