    Mark 1:38; 1 Peter 4:12-13

    Mark 1:38

KJV(i)38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.
CAB(i)38 But He said to them, "Let us go to the neighboring towns, that I may preach there also, because for this reason I have come forth."

    These are my thoughts.

Jesus came to preach the word; we should want to hear His word.

    1 Peter 4:12-13

    King James Version (KJV)

12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

    1 Peter 4:12-13

21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

    12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you;

13 but rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

12 There may come things that we can not explain and we may face troubles that we can not overcome but, thru Him any trial can be overcome. Thru Him we can do the unspeakable and unimaginable.

13 We may have to suffer for the Lord. He suffered for us it is an honor to return to Him by winning the battle and staying strong in faith. Right now we may face troubles and trials but soon we will have a peace that does not end and a joy that is eternal. All we go thru will be worth it when we see the face of Jesus.

    Keep our eyes on Jesus.

    Mark 1:37; 1 Peter 4:11

    Mark 1:37

KJV(i)37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.
CAB(i)37 When they found Him, they said to Him, "Everyone is looking for You."

    These are my thoughts.
People should look for Jesus because He is it.

    1 Peter 4:11

    King James Version (KJV)

11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

    1 Peter 4:11

21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

11 If any man speak, let him speak according to the oracles of God. If any man minister, let him do it according to the ability which God giveth, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

11 We should allow people to first speak because it may be of the truth and be something we need to hear but we also need to be cautious because they may be spreading false teaching we should judge what they but the scripture we already have. We should not stand in the way of letting people do what the Lord has for them but this does not mean we should take a back seat but should do also what He wants of us if it is from Him and we both are following Him into doing this it will work together and both will happen and neither will take away from the other but may even make each other better at what they are called to do. Sometimes people do what they want and God wants someone to do something and they try to be obedient but people stand in their way, just stay true and follow God this time will not be the easiest. Ministering is being a servant or serving, providing people what they need whether it is teaching or Godly console. We should not to go beyond what the Lord leads us, He will give us the ability but we may not see it this is so we can rely not on ourselves but so we can rely on Him. We should serve not bring glory to ourselves but to bring Him glory and praise. One way to judge to see if someone is called by God is who is the praise going to them or to God or to something else all together.

    Mark 1:36; 1 Peter 4:9-10

    Mark 1:36

KJV(i)36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.
CAB(i)36 And Simon and those who were with Him sought Him out.

    These are my thoughts.

We should be willing to follow Jesus wherever He leads us.

    1 Peter 4:9-10

    King James Version (KJV)

9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

    1 Peter 4:9-10

21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

9 We as believers should get along and share the love of Christ with each other. We should not look to divide from brothers in Christ but look to support the Way. There are many today who are not willing to great past their problems or disagreements with other Christians so, they form a new church. A church should not be formed out of pity differences and there is a way to handle these differences. Martin Luther was one of the first to break away from the Catholic church he did these after telling them their wrongs and them not changing their ways. We may be faced with a church not living to God’s standards and not listen to us for telling them, they are not of this one mind because they seek after something other than His word and truth.

10 We have all received gifts from God to serve Him and add growth to the faith. We should serve with the gifts He has given us and pray for chances to serve Him more with these gifts. We should not try to do things He has not gifted us to do if He does not lead us to. We should always look to serve Him by following Him to where He leads us.

    Keep our eyes on Jesus.

    Mark 1:35; 1 Peter 4:6-8

    Mark 1:35
KJV(i) 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
CAB(i) 35 And in the very early morning before dawn, He arose and He went out, and went away to a deserted place; and there He was praying.

    These are my thoughts.
Jesus took time to pray and was without sin how much more do we as sinful people need to pray.

    1 Peter 4:6-8

    King James Version (KJV)

For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

    1 Peter 4:6-8

21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

6 The gospel is preached to those who have already accepted it and to those who have not yet accepted it. The gospel always growth for believers and brings the lost to the faith. We as the church should not focus on teaching the gospel more to one group than the other because winning people to Christ by preaching the gospel is important but preaching the gospel to develop believers into service for Him is also important. Man will be judged by the gospel, whether they have received Jesus or not.

7 We should watch as things are done, the Lord will return in His timing we need to focus on servicing Him in the meantime, be ready for opportunity. We should prayer for guidance in the Christian walk and His will to be done by us.

8 Love is important and is to be shown and not just said. Jesus showed Hi love for us to dying on our behalf, we should show love by sharing His love with others.

    Keep our eyes on Jesus.
