    Mark 4:32; Job 7:14-16

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDR9uURi-bU

Mark 4:32 King James Version (KJV)

32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

Mark 4:32 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

32 But once it is planted, it grows larger than any garden plant. It even puts out branches that are big enough for birds to nest in its shade.

    These are my thoughts.

Our faith may start as little but the Lord can work with that to cause it to grow into something great.

Job 7:14-16 King James Version (KJV)

14 Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions:

15 So that my soul chooseth strangling, and death rather than my life.

16 I loathe it; I would not live alway: let me alone; for my days are vanity.

Job 7:14-16 Good News Translation (GNT)

    14 But you—you terrify me with dreams;
you send me visions and nightmares
15  until I would rather be strangled
than live in this miserable body.
16 I give up; I am tired of living.
Leave me alone. My life makes no sense.

14 Job dreams you think could have been much worse then his life but his dreams most likely was about a fallen relationship between him and the Lord because of what he is going thru. Job is most likely talking to the Lord; he is stating what the Lord has done to him that his friends are not seeing.

15 Job felt so much pain that he just wanted his life to be over and was asking this from the Lord because Job knew that it was up to the Lord to end his life and not up to Job, he was not going to end his own life.

16 Job was broken, his friends were no help and made things worse, Job was just done.

    Mark 4:30

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx1da6ka79s

Mark 4:30 King James Version (KJV)

30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

Mark 4:30 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

    A Mustard Seed

30 Finally, Jesus said: What is God’s kingdom like? What story can I use to explain it?

    These are my thoughts.

This is what people wanted to know, what heaven is like has always been something people have pondered on.

Job 7:12-13 Good News Translation (GNT)

12 Why do you keep me under guard?
Do you think I am a sea monster?
    13 I lie down and try to rest;

I look for relief from my pain.

12 It was thought that sea monster were kept chained up to prevent them from taking down all the boats and they were blamed when ships sunk. Job is telling you don’t have to guard me, keep an eye on me; Job was losing patience with his so called friends.

13 The only time Job may have been at some peace at any rest was when he slept, although with his conditions his sleep would not be as easy, Job most likely was restless.

    Mark 4:31; Job 7:11

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfIVIKXgk0U

Mark 4:31 King James Version (KJV)

31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

Mark 4:31 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

31 It is like what happens when a mustard seed is planted in the ground. It is the smallest seed in all the world.

Contemporary English Version (CEV) Copyright © 1995 by American Bible Society

    These are my thoughts.

Little seeds can grow into big things, God can take little faith in Him and grow it.

Job 7:11 King James Version (KJV)

11 Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

Job 7:11 Good News Translation (GNT)

    11 No! I can't be quiet!
     I am angry and bitter.
     I have to speak.

Talking and getting things out is good, keeping things bottled up can cause serve emotional issues. Consoling is important for us as Christians going to someone who we can trust to share what is bothering us and those who will advise us in rightness when we need it but they will also encourage us when we need it. Sometimes we have to be like Job and stand up for ourselves and defend ourselves.

    Mark 4:29; Job 7:9-10

Mark 4:29 King James Version (KJV)

29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

Mark 4:29 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

29 Then when harvest season comes and the grain is ripe, the farmer cuts it with a sickle.

    These are my thoughts.

Jesus will take us home one day.

Job 7:9-10 King James Version (KJV)

As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.

10 He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him any more.

Job 7:9-10 Good News Translation (GNT)

9-10 Like a cloud that fades and is gone,
     we humans die and never return;
we are forgotten by all who knew us.

9 This was his view point and is the view point of many today but we today know from scripture that after death is judgment. What do in this life and who we serve makes a difference in our life after it is only by Jesus that we can go into glory.

10 Sometimes people are remember by man after they die, this was the goal for the Greeks during their empire as well as others for them to do something to make them remember for doing something great, for us it only matters to be remembered by God thru Christ we can be.
