We are weak, He Is Strong
Today's Scripture:
"Now thanks be unto God, which always
causes us to triumph in Christ, and maketh
manifest the savour of His knowledge by
us in every place.." (II Corinthians 2:14)
Devotional:
Have you ever noticed that Satan always
chooses just the right time to attack you?
When you haven't had enough rest, when
you haven't been spending time daily with
the Lord, when the demands on your time
and energy seem overwhelming – that's
when the enemy tries to pull the rug out
from under you.
The good news is – even that rug is under
God's feet. And God always has victory in
mind! He will never allow Satan to
discourage you without a plan for your
ultimate success! We may not always
choose to follow Christ to victory, but
He is always leading the way!
God wants to give you the victory because
He loves you, and because it will be a
testimony to His goodness for all to see.
Choose today to rise up and take authority
over any area of your life that's keeping you
in defeat. Be on the aggressive. Be on the
offensive. Stay focused and determined,
and God will take you places you've never
dreamed of. Claim His promises of joy
and abundance with confidence and rejoice
in the triumph that God has in store for you
today!
A Prayer for Today:
God, open my eyes to the things in my life that
are dragging me down. Help me always be on
guard over my spiritual life. Help me to be
alert and to stay focused on the plan that You
have for me. In Jesus' name - Amen.

A Poem: God Is...
God Is...
God is the best friend you could
ever have, He really listens to
anything you have to say abd He
truely understands the things
that are spoken from the heart.
He will be with you when all
others are gone, He will help
you when noone else will and He
will not tell your talks that
you have with Him with anyone.
How cool is that?
God is the know who knows it
all, so why not just tell Him
how it is you feel and what
you think? He can and He will
help you through even the
things you think you can not
do.
God is great, God is wonderful,
God is what you need for He
cares for us all and there is
nothing He does not see and
nothing He does not hear.

It has been a rainy day all day today here in Ohio... Yep the crazy weather state!!
Well I thought I would share a poem... yes I wrote it ~smile~
In Good Hands:
I am in good hands
though sometimes I
may not see or even
understand, yet I
take one day at a
time and smile along
the way.
I am in good hands
through all the good
through all the bad
and even through all
the in between
through laughter and
tears and those who
come and go in and
out of my life.
Yet one has always
remained I am in good
hands, I could never
repay as He paid a
debt I owed and for
that alone He is my
hero and He has my
heart, my soul and my
life.
Well I will chat later on about more things.....

May 1, 2006 Monday: I just joined this wonderful place and I look forward to writing in here meeting new people and sharing! God is good and greatly to be praised!! How have you been a witness to your world this week?
What verse are you memorizing/meditating on this week?
Write about it and share.
