Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

    Kindness a Godly Virtue

A first grade Sunday School class was asked to draw pictures of God. One boy represented Him as a wise old man sitting in the clouds. Another boy gave a more abstract interpretation by drawing a bright colored rainbow. One little girl explained her picture like this: "I don't know what God looks like, so I just drew my grandmother. The little girls grandmother was apparently very special to her. The Apostle Peter indicated that all Christians are expected to cultivate Gods character. Our faith will result in good deeds. The godlier we become, the more Gods kindness will be displayed through our lives. We will become less concerned about our own needs  more concerned about others.  2Peter 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

    WORDS OF KINDNESS

I love the story about the boy who was walking along the beach after a terrific storm, picking up starfish that had washed up on the shore, and throwing them back into the sea. A man said to the boy: "There are hundreds of starfish on this beach. Do you really thing you can make a difference in saving them?" The boy picked up another starfish and threw it back into the water. "It made a difference to that one," was his reply. 2 Chronicles 10:7 And they spake unto him, saying, If thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be thy servants for ever. The world is a difficult place, but we can make a difference with even small acts of kindness.

    ALL ARE WELCOME

Have you ever wondered how some churches expect to reach the lost? They never invite anyone for bible study but their church friends, and never visit anyone who is lost. It's no wonder the church is failing! Jesus invites all people to come to Him. He seeks those who don't know Him and give them an invitation. Thankfully He doesn't screen out those who look, act, or believe a certain way. Mat 22:9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. God gives us all an invitation to join Him for all eternity. We sure need to share this invitation with others.

    ADCVICE, GOOD OR BAD?

There is no shortage of advice in the world today. We truly live in the information age. The television, the Internet, tabloids, and horoscopes abound. If we need an answer? Check statistics, take a poll, or text message a friend. Advice is everywhere. The advice of the world, however, is based on the thinking of the world: it tends to be relative, human, and shortsighted. The world's advice usually considers only the self at the price of others. Where can we turn to for good solid guidance? We should never fail to ask the One who is never wrong. The One whose words are forever true. The counsel of God has no limits because He has no limits. Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

    Alarmed!

    Alarmed yet?--

The price of oil keeps skyrocketing, food is following close behind, job loss is on the increase. The prices of mmanufacturing products is also on the increase. These things aren't going up pennies are dimes they are going up dollars. How much more can we stand? The working and poor people of the world cannot continue to survive if the rich dosen't quit taking away from them.If you are making $100,000. a year are more you can last a while but eventually you will begin to feel this impact also. We must turn to God and ask for His help. If something does not happen soon we are headed straight for a full blown depression world wide. However this may be Gods will to teach us a lesson For turning away from Him??? Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

    NEW COVENANT

The new covenant God made through Jesus was above and beyond  the covenant He made with Moses at Sinai. The old covenant fell short in effectiveness because the people could never live up to it. Moses was merely the Representative of the people, but Jesus was the Representative of  Almighty God. What the blood animals could never accomplish, Jesus' blood provided at the cross; redemption from sin, the promise of the Holy Spirit, and eternal life. Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

    MERCY OF GOD

All things whether on earth or in heaven belong to God, in all reality we dont have anything. Our earthly possesions dont mean a thing to God, its our spiritual readiness to serve Him that God is concerned about. We dont need to worry so much about earthly things but concentrate on the heavenly things.,  Serve and give God the Praise and Glory He so richly deserves.33 Oh the depth of riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge  of God. How unsearchable  His judgements and untraceble His ways! 34 For who has known the mind of the Lord? or who has been His counselor? 35 Or who has first given to Him , and has to be repaid? 36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever amen. Romans 11: 33-36..

    MOTHERS DAY

I feel so blessed that I got to spend another mothers day with my mom she is 84 yrs old and not in the best of health. But I praise the Lord that she is still with me. Because so many have lost their mothers. And  mothers day brings back a lot of memorys, But as I try to do on fathers day. We should focus on the good times and memorys we have, and look foward to seeing them again some day. as Jesus promised that we would. Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you. Isn't that wonderful.  John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.__How wonderful the love of Jesus is. May Gods spirit be with all.

    Gods Love In Us

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him and he in God. 1 John 4:15....  And they will know we are Christians by our love. These are the lyrics of an old song. The many ways we  proclaim Jesus and confess that He is Gods Son is a sign of Gods work in us. Perhaps Christians have no more important role in todays chaotic, violent world, than to show Gods love through our actions  and in our words  in grocery stores, restaurants, traffic, and with people we meet as we go about our daily lives. We are to be His light in a dark world. Lets let everyone know that we are proud to be a child of the King Jesus Christ and Proclaim it. And let our light shine for all to see!

    Blessed Wealth

Our nation has been blessed over the years of its history with great philanthropists who have, out of their great wealth, given lots of money to charitable causes. Sometimes they they have inspired others of us to make donations to charities. However none of them have been so generous as to give up all their wealth, even for causes in which they believed deeply. Few if any of us would give all we have to someone else, even if they needed our help. In contrast , the Lord Jesus had all of heaven and earth at His disposal. He had no lack of anything of value. Yet this Christ of God gave up all that for the sake of creatures who did not know Him or care for Him. He had lived among us with no estate, no wealth, and nor even a place of His own to lay His head at night. He did all this because of the great love He has for each one of us. 2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

    Waiting With Patience

Life is full of frustrations. We can't do what we want to do, and we do what we don't want to do. The 8Th chapter of Romans puts things in perspective for us. Paul's good news to the Romans was there is no condemnation in Christ, and the future hope of heaven is bright and worth waiting for.Rom 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth  why doth he yet hope for? Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Learning to wait patiently allows us to accept Gods timing. Trusting in His watch- care, we remain faithful when nothing seems to be happening. We put the situation in His capable hands and leave it there with hope and expectation. Waiting, however, is a daily endeavor providing us opportunities to slow down and trust God for each moment.

    DOOMED?

I have been thinking about the mess our nation and the world is in. If we don't turn back to God we are doomed! Throughout history, [if you don't want to take the Bible just look at history.] You will find that every time a nation gets to greedy try to rule or police the world that it falls like a rock! I personally believe the Word of God and God says all these things will come to pass before Jesus comes back. And He will come back. When its time. No one can bring it on or delay it . Then all the money in the world are gold or oil will not buy what it will take to get you to heaven. It will cost nothing . But you have to believe in Jesus Christ. and that He died on the cross for all who have sinned. Repent and by the grace of God you can be saved. There is no other way, except through Jesus. John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believe on me hath everlasting life. Matthew 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city
