These are my thoughts, please share yours.
8 This was probably all they had at the time to rely on, there
was no scripture, and they of course could have heard the story of creation and
Babel and the flood.
Just because someone older said it a long time ago does not mean it is true, the
truth that matters most is found in the word.
9 Life is short scripture expresses this in Solomon’s books.
We truly do not have a full understanding; we are limited to what we can learn.
This does not mean we are not valued because we are valued enough that Christ died
for us.
10 It is wise to listen to what others say but foolish to follow
after everything you hear you have to use discernment.
