Traveling The Wrong Road
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Col 2:6 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; -Col. 1:10 As Christians we have a high calling, so we should be very careful to walk worthy of the Lord. Be followers of Christ and strive to be perfect. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Phil. 3:18 Many are following the ways of the world, so their end is destruction. They are earthly minded and care not for the things of Christ their God is their belly and their glory is their shame. We as Christians try to forget those things of the past and go forward to the prize of the high calling. We may be cast down, but not forsaken. We stand firm in our calling and press for the finish line. We are holding fast to the traditions, which we have been taught. There is everlasting consolation and hope through grace in our walk. Comfort your hearts and look forward to the glorious day that is dawning ahead. It want be long until our journey is over and we will land on Heaven's bright shore. Rejoice evermore. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain. Phil: 2: 16 God's Way Now there is a way that seem right The end will soon be in sight A way of death and sin So many therein
O do not walk that crooked road That leads to death's abode Choose God's way today The very best way -Brenda

Children of Light
OUR CONTINUING JOURNEY
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. -Heb 13:14God has ordained that we should walk in the good way. Now there is a way that seems right but the end thereof is the way of death. Christians should be careful to avoid that path of destruction. We do good to walk in the Light where we have fellowship on the journey. It is a way of love and our eyes are enlightened. We know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glory. It is the inheritance of the saints.
We have so much to look forward to, so it is unthinkable to turn back to the way of sin and darkness. We see a light at the end of the tunnel. We are not in darkness, but children of Light. Our journey sometimes takes us on dangerous grounds and we often walk through the fire, but we fear not, because we have someone walking with us in the midst of the fire. That someone is Jesus, the Son of God. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. -Psalm 23:4 We are not defeated so let us press on to the goal. Let us be fruitful in every good work and increase in knowledge of God. Col. 1:10 Children of Light
We walk in darkness no more We are God's Children of Light! Marching onward to Heaven's shore The way is getting very bright There is a light now shining forth This must be our pathway home Seen from God's Holy Portals North The shining, Heavenly home We are God's Children of Light Called to our new Heavenly home There will be no more night Never again we'll roam -Brenda

Walking
WALKING WITH THE LORD
.... Come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord. -Isaiah 2:5
We are on a journey each day of our life when we walk with God. Daily God leads us. Come ye, let us walk in the light of the Lord for it is a good way. Once we walked in darkness where we fail and stumbled. But now we walk in the Light and the Blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Daily we grow in grace as we redeem the time of this evil age.On our way to Heaven we have a song in our heart and give thanks to God in the Name of Jesus. Daily we strive to be like Christ and have His mind.
Now Satan doesn't like it, because we walk with the King, but we have power over him. He is defeated in Jesus Name! He sends out arrows of poison and hate, and tries to harm us. It grieves him because we walk with Christ each day. Nevertheless we continue on the Heavenly City of God. It is a good way, so daily we ask for the old paths and walk there in because it is the way we find rest for our souls. Jeremiah 6: 16
THE CHRISTIAN WALK
A walk of love, is the Christian walk It is a walk of hope and light For with the Lord we talk
A walk of joy, is the Christian walk Sweet Fellowship divine So we will never balk
A worthy way is the Christian walk We reach for this high calling Let the world mock

He Has Called us By Our Name
HE KNOWS OUR NAME
1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43: 1-2 ...and he calleth his own sheep by name, -John 4
William Shakespeare once posed a question: “What’s in a name?” To some people, names mean a great deal. To others little significance on what their name or the names of their children mean. God said He has called us by Name and we are His. He created me and you. There is no need to fear. He has redeemed and bought us. We are His. He knows all His children by name and in righteousness. He will hold our hand and keep us. He remembers us in our low estate and redeems us from the hands of the enemy. The Lord's use of name demonstrates an intimate relationship with His children. The sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. —John 10:3 Our name means much to God, therefore let us keep a good mane that makes God proud. A good name is better than precious ointment. The God who made the heavens and the earth in all its glory knows me by name! It’s almost too much for me to understand such great Love -Brenda ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~

Thanks
Thank You LordThink about the goodness of the Lord. He is ever merciful and good. Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. Thank you Lord for the great love you have for us all. Your love is like a light in the darkness, that lights up my life. How would I ever make it without you. You are the love of my life. Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people. Awesome is your power. You made the world and everything in it. You give us good things to enjoy. It is good to give thanks unto Your Holy Name. Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare. Now, while I live, let me always be thankful for in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations. Kindle your flame of love in my heart every day and let me always please You for Your loving kindness is better than life. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. Sweet are Your Words to my soul. Unto Thee, Oh Lord I give thanks. I just want to thank You Lord for all Your kindness. Thank You for amazing grace and for giving me Salvation. To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. Jesus Ministering to the Multitudes
Scriptures From Matthew 15: 29-39 29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. 30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: 31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. 32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. 33 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? 34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes. 35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. 38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children. 39 And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.
Ministering to the Crowds: Our Lord's mission of grace and truth was at its height. His help was sought with the utmost eagerness. Large numbers of sick were cast at his feet in hot haste. The crumb was given to the woman of Canaan, but whole loaves were distributed to the crowds of Jews, because it was a chance for them to accept Christ. For a brief moment they glorified the God of Israel, but the spasm of gratitude was transient. "His own" rejected Jesus. They would have his miracles, but would not come content with getting his help; love him for himself. These miracles were not confined to his earthly life. Hi is still the great storehouse of divine and healing energy. He is still moved with compassion and longs to help each weary and sin sick soul. His thought still is "lest they faint in the way." The wilderness can place no bar on "the saving strength of his right hand." Disciples especially are meant to be intermediaries and mediators. They take and give. - F B Myers

Paul's Mission
Paul on Call 1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 8- Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the un-searchable riches of Christ -Ephesians 3:1-3-8 Paul was a prisoner of Rome, but as far as he was concerned, he was a prisoner of Jesus Christ, that is the one he was really bound to. "A prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles." The reason why Paul was persecuted and the reason why Paul was in prison is because he was insisting that the Gentiles could be saved by their believing in Jesus Christ, and this upset the Jews, who felt that the Gentiles could only be saved by becoming Jews. Paul said, "If I didn't preach this then the persecution would cease. They wouldn't have anything against me anymore." But Paul stood by that message of God's grace that had been given to him. Paul's was delighted that God had given him this glorious ministry, the lesser than the least of all of the saints. The privilege given that I should be able to share the un-searchable riches of Christ, impart them unto the Gentiles." "What a privilege," Paul said. This is the opinion of a one who has truly been called of God and really had a confirmation with Jesus Christ.
Today, let us be just as excited and count it a privilege to tell the good news of Jesus.
Paul's Mission Ready to Suffer and die for Jesus Why do ye weep and break my heart Bind me with fetters and leave me to die For the Name of my Lord Jesus The Gospel story must be told of Jesus Up to Jerusalem I will go to deliver Glad tidings and show God's mercy For the Name of Jesus my Lord

Beautiful Love
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1 Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; that the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing, which is in you in Christ Jesus. - Phil. 1:5, 6 No School Hugs Allowed
Hugs are a big thing, but hugs are not always wholesome and welcome. At least according to the news this week where there was an article about the school children being expelled from school, because of hugging each other. Affectionate students are feeling the squeeze around the country as their displays of affection land them in trouble with school administrators. Sexual harassment is serious business, and educators should do their best to ensure that schools are safe environments. There is not a worry with God's pure sweet love. It is rich and pure. After hearing the news article, I was inspired to write the verse below.
BEAUTIFUL LOVE Beautiful Love, so rich and pure Flowing from God's throne Who for such love would not bow low? For love of God, so rich and true Beautiful Love. Beautiful love Love of the Father Beautiful, Beautiful love
Beautiful love flow over me Let me thy fullness see Then I will be forever filled With pure love, down from above
Beautiful Love. Beautiful love Love of the Father Beautiful, beautiful love ©Brenda A. 11, 09, 07

Valley of Baca
Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also fills the pools. - Psalm 84: 6 It is good to know that when we pass through the hard times in life, we have God with us. Even in the vale of tears or any other dreary way we come upon, we can find sweet solace and communion with God. Sometimes in our lifetime, we must all pass through gloomy times. There are joys of pilgrimage, which make us forget the discomforts of the road. We cry out, " O God our shield, look upon the face of your anointed". We can look up and trust God, for help. When our supply of Spiritual water is low we must press on through the dry valley and not despair or grow weary. God is our fountain. We drink and are refreshed. God gives to his people the supplies they need while traveling the roads, which he points out. We cannot make it without the abundant supply of God's help. The way would be deserted and rough. Christian converse and the joy of united worship will makes many duties easier and more delightful, which else had been difficult and painful. The Lord God of hosts hears our prayer and supplies all our needs. He is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Perhaps the valley of tears is, before that most glorious fountain of Jehovah. Let His showers of blessings fill your well

In The Presence of God ~
FROM GOD'S WORD WE READ: I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. -Psalm 138:2 In His presence I come and stand in awe of the Most High Eternal God. I worship, extol and rejoice in Christ my Lord. Because He has redeemed me from the pits of sin. I pray each day that my life pleases Him, who has redeemed my soul from sin. In His presence, I find joy that I cannot find elsewhere. I find satisfaction and peace and understanding. His truth makes me free. I am shielded from all evil in the presence of the Lord God. He is the temple: the place of divine indwelling, therefore it is good for my soul to worship in the Holy Temple of God.

Victory In Christ
For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth. And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, That in my flesh I shall see God, Whom I shall see for myself, And my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!
So when my corruptible body Has put on incorruption, And my mortal body has put on immortality, Then shall be brought to pass the saying: "Death is swallowed up in victory!" O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? Scriptures: Job 19.25-27; 1 Cor. 15.54-55 Hope you were blessed by these beautiful scriptures -Brenda
